Now Rula's been evicted, the coast is clear for Pete to break the House rules. First to go is the No Smoking ban in the bedroom.
At around 9.35pm, within minutes of Rula leaving the house, Pete's hand is clearly seen protruding from the toilet, holding a lit cigarette.
Again, at 10.00pm and shortly after at 10.17pm, he takes advantage of the other Housemates being locked in the lounge following the eviction to have a smoke in the bedroom.
This despite everyone agreeing to and adhering to the ban for the previous two weeks.
Once everyone is finally let out of the lounge, Pete joins them and has a few more cigarettes in the kitchen.
It isn't until 11.45pm when Traci, Chantelle and Pete are in the bedroom together that he tries his luck and lights up in front of the others.
Traci is the only one to comment saying, "Pete, you crack me up."
"Why?", he snarls, only for Traci to reply, "You're just... you're funny, with your cigarette on the bed." And the irritation in Traci's voice makes it clear he isn't making her laugh.
Finally, at 2.30 in the morning, with all the other Housemates sleeping, he gets into bed and, with a look of self-satisfaction, lights yet another cigarette.
Somehow the Housemates manage to sleep through the clouds of smoke. For now. Sparks may be flying by morning, though.
