Smithy job on the line

With Smithy getting arrested for Louise death who do you think will take his job as Sergeant or do you think that he will not get charge with killing his girlfriend.

when June left before Yvonne took over so amybe she would take it on i don't know though they all seem quite new at the moment

i think in one of the spoilers it says that yvonne takes over but im sure this wont be permanent as i am sure they will find the evidence they need to clear smithy's name.

Yvonne takes over as acting sergeant but Smithy will be cleared I'm sure of it:)
It would be nice if Smithy was cleared but Larson hadn't yet been caught that way Smithy could be the one to bring him down, of course with Zain's help..

yeh but if he does get arrested and like put in jail but then found innocent can he stil come back and be a sergeant or cant he be in the police again?

If he's cleared of the crime he can come back, but if he's sound guilty of anything he'll loose his job (Remember when Polly got cleared of murder- she'd purjured herself in court so couldn't return as a police officer)
I heard a rumour Yvonne gets a Sergeants post perminanly. I think Smithy will be cleared though.

He does go to jail- his cell mate is played by Bill Tretcher (Auther Fowler in EE)

I would quite like it if Smithy was cleared and he went to work in CID. I can just imagine what he'll wear..a cross between Mickey and Zain:wub:

If Yvonne is made a permanent sergeant then Smithy could still reutrn as Sgt because the Bill always used to have three sergeants until recently.

Saw Alex on LK today, he really is lovely, chatting about the storyline and I get the impression that he will be staying:) So I'm really looking forward to seeing how this is all going to work out for Smithy
