Has anyone else read the books? This show is based on books by author Kathy Reichs, the books are fabulous and its the reason (and david!) why i started to watch the show

An I feel so sorry for Tempe - I wonder if they will do a show on her parents? they must be building up to that

I think they have to have her find something out about what happened maybe thats how it could end. After all the whole show is based around how she got the job to solve the mystery of her parents dissapearence and to help others like her. She has such a sad story. Mum and Dad missing, brither gone awol, put into foster care. She has no friends outside work and no other family. Her work really is her life. Its the only thing she understands, the only thing she trusts.

If you enjoy it, you should try the books. they are very different though, as Tempe in those is 40+ and has a daughter! she also has friends outside of work, but they have a habit of dying off!

Like it very much, tried to read a book by Kathy Reichs but she gives so many graphic details it wants to make you throw up, the series are so much better.
I tried to read the book before I started watching the series. By the way I love David Boreanaz.

i haven't watched the first series but saw the first episod eof this series and i've really got into it! the stories are really gripping and its so funny! its like an american version of silent witness!

i've started watching the repeats of series 1 now coz i didn't see them the firt time round! i love them so much i prefer series 1 to 2 in the fact that there's no Cam. i'm not a huge fan of her and the team seem so much better when she's not in it imo! this is definately one of the best shows around at the moment!

Bones is amazing at the minute and there's some really good episodes coming up. I am so glad they have been given a third series and all together there's a whole 22 episodes in series two so still lots to go :)

i'm so glad we've still got a long way to go but at the same time i want to know whats going to happen next! Another good episode last night! Angela and Hodgins were sweet and i like the way they left the suspense with the 'shadow' on the video! Find Cam really annoying though!

I got Bones Season 1. I've managed to get through 2/3 of the season in two days. :p Its quite good actually! Its really interesting too. I liked the episode 'Two bodies in a lab'. Love Hodgins mini. :lol:

I'm so getting Season 2...as soon as Amazon restocks!

I missed the first 2 series, but have been watching since Series 3 and love it!! I downloaded the last episode of series 1, the first and last of series 2 and just watched them, and they are fab!! Might have to download me the entire series (or might pop into Zavvi where they have them cheap atm ;) )

Bones season 1 and 2 are quite cheap on amazon. £15 and £12. (Although the £12 is out of stock atm). If I had a Zavvi nearby I'd go but the nearest one is three trains away!

Bones is on Sky One on a Thursday night. Sometimes re-runs, sometimes new series, but atm they are re-running the episodes already shown from Series 4.

I'm popping into town on Weds, so will pop into Zavvi and see if they have any instock. I know when my eldest went in on Saturday he said the DVD box sets were really cheap, so fingies crossed!

I've been watching season 4 when its been airing in America and it's been good sofar, however i am missing some of the more 'squinty' element as zack is no longer there :'( Overall i think season 3 has been the best sofar. Just <3 it.
