i watched the oc on sunday as my mate is obssesed and so i thought id watch it so we can chat about it...i loved it...but im confussed

so can someone summarise the charcters and storylines of series 1 and 2 please?

That is going to be hard, But this is what I remember

This is going to be long


Ryan Atwood lives with the Cohen- he is seth’s best friend

In Series One:He got arrested for stealing a car so he went to jail and he was not guilty- so he went to live with the Cohen- he lived in the pool house- he dated Marissa Cooper- who was the girl next door. He goes back to his old house but his mum has left- his brother make him do crime, he left as his ex girlfriend was prengent.

In series two:His brother come out of jail and lives in his own place, he nearly killed Kirsten dad- he starts to date Kirsten sister as well as Marissa on his back. he came back as his EX-girlfriend said she lost the baby

Kirsten Cohen is seth mum. She is married to Sandy and she is in rehab


In Series one:she was not so sure about having Ryan at her house, but she decide it ok for him to stay

in series two:she had a drink problem as sandy who is her husband was seeing he ex girlfriend behind her back- as he thought she was dead but she was not. Also the other reason why she become to have a drink problem is someone she was going to have an affair with went and left her. She find out she has a other sister- she has one called halyely.Her dad get married to Marissa Cooper mum and at the end he dad died.She go into rehab for her drink problem

Marissa Cooper: dated so many boys you can not keep up- she has a drink problem. At the moment she is with Ryan- she is summer’s best friend

in series one: She meet Ryan and they date when her ex boyfriend Luke beat Ryan up, He parents spilt up- so she sad, She try to kill herself


in series two:She goes and live with her mum and step dad, She dates the Gardner-but it never worked out as she still had feeling for Ryan, She lose it, She also has a drink problem but it has not got that bad. She dated Alex who was a girl- but than Alex said it was not working out as Alex had never finished school. It finished with her shot Ryan brother trey

Seth Cohen is sandy and Kirsten son and he is ryan best friend

in series one he was the geek than Ryan can to live with the Cohen and he was not a geek no-more.He fancy Summer and in the very end he got with her,He went out with Anna as she was his lab partner - but Seth was dating them both and they both found out, so Anna left to go home. He left the O.C to see Luke as Ryan left the Cohen and Seth thought he would be a geek like he was before Ryan came


in series two: He cme backas ryan goes and get him.He lost summer as zack (I think) came into town and as he left to see Luke as Ryan left the Cohen and Seth thought he would be a geek like he was before Ryan came. He was making comic books but it went through.He dated someone called Alex(I think that her name) but she only like girls so she datedMarissa.- so I think he won summer for a little while.He found out that his mum had a drink problem, His granddad died.


Sandy Cohen is husband to Kirsten and seth is their son and now he is looking after ryan aswell as his lawyer

In series one: He saved ryan from going to jail and let him stay with his family.

In series two: He had an affair with his ex girlfriend who he thought was dead.


Summer Roberts is the posh one of them all- she is Marissa best friend- she also has a thing with called seth and Marissa by their last name

In series one: She got two timed by seth- with anna



In Series Two:She went between seth and zack, she was the main person in seth comics
