Shane Pops The Question With £7k Ring
EastEnders star Shane Ritchie has popped the question to his girlfriend - over a Chinese meal.The romantic actor wowed Christie Goddard with a £7,500 ring while they tucked into an oriental banquet to celebrate her 27th birthday.Shane - Alfie Moon in the hit soap - proposed at the bash on Tuesday in a restaurant near their home in posh Gerrards Cross, Bucks.

Among the guests was Albert Square co-star Kasey Ainsworth, who plays Little Mo.

A pal told the Sun: "The expression on Christie's face was priceless.

"She had no idea it was going to happen and burst into tears when he pulled out the box."

Shane, who recently revealed he wants children with 27-year-old Christie, used to be married to singer Coleen Nolan. :cheer:

i just read that on ananova!! never understand how you can lose your ring!! i never take mine off and if i do i make sure it goes somewhere safe! i certainly wouldnt lose my ring if it cost as much as hersdid

Looks like shanes upto more publicity stunts,hes using the papers a lot to build up his publicity,but he should beware cos like many others,posh and becks for instance,the press usually get bored when they have built you up and start to rip you to peices and boy can they drag a couple down when they want to.
