New York,, whoa wonderful shopping,, and BROADWAY PLAYS...If you want to get tickets for certain shows while u are in NY buy them in advance :-D

Depends on what you want to do. For shopping and a relaxing time, I think chicago is great.

For a relaxing holiday, nothing beats Lake Tahoe

Went to Florida for 5 days, great place.. Didn't enjoy Disney World.. mainly because I went with the little cousins and watched these boring shows..

But the villa was fantastic and so are the views!! Oh yes and the shops are :wub: :p

las vegas! my cousin went tyhere and it was so fun...you can spend a week just going trough the hotels as they have shopping malls and zoos and stuff inside hotels! and theres a csi shop!

we went to las vegas last new year for a wedding but we werent there very long so we didnt really see any of the hotels, we were wondering whether to go back there or not for a few more days to look around all the hotels and stuff. which hotel did your cousins stay in and which one would they recommend would be the best to stay in do you know?

How much are u willing to spend per night ?? Will u be leasing/renting a car to get around ?? or are u going to use public transportation??

Well i have only been to one place in America and thats New York! I went quite recently. If u love to shop and eat and be a proper american then go there!!!! :wub: i love it soooo much! cant wait to go back :angel:

If you go to New York Di M, make sure you check out a shop called Century 21. Its very close to Ground Zero, but is full of discounted designer stuff. I got loads of tops and trousers etc that were marked up at $500 and they only cost me $50 (so £25-30 roughly!!) And you cant do New York without going to Macy's either - brill store and if you go close to Thanksgiving, their window decorations are fantastic....

My friend lived there for 4 years or so, and hates it there. Its all commercialised to make it seem to be great, when as you say, its a bit of a dump tbh

yeh apparently my parents are now coming too, cos my dad can now get the time off work, which in some ways is nice cos soon i probably wont be going on family holidays but in the other way it would have been cool just me and my sis going. well me and my sis like shopping and anything involving animals and we like things which are going to be fun and where we have things to do, my parents like looking round at tourist things and my dad likes museum (but they dont like art galleries!). i like theme parks but no one else does so i never get to go to them :(

thanks for the links jodi :) however my mum has annoyingly gone and booked the holiday today so im waiting to see where exactly shes booked seeing as it was meant to be mine and my sisters choice! :(
