Record labels are clamouring to release Chantelle's fake single for real, according to a report in The Sun.
'I Want It Right Now', penned by ex Go West star Colin Campsie, has become a cult hit since Chantelle gave it an out-of-tune debut on day three in the house.
The track was one of ten songs producers had asked Bill Stonebridge, head of music publishers Dalmatian Songs, to submit last year.
"The song is actually called I Want It All and was written with Kylie in mind. But I guess they changed the title to suit Chantelle’s quest to be a celebrity," Stonebridge told the newspaper. We weren’t sure what had happened to the song until we saw the Essex housemate perform it."
He added: "There’s been no shortage of interest - we’ve had numerous phonecalls from big record companies about releasing it. Some of them are offering silly money. We will definitely chat with her when she comes out."
Bookmakers William Hill are offering odds of 9/2 that Chantelle makes it to number one with the song.
