The House got a sombre wake-up call this morning as Big Brother pounded the group out of Sleepville with the loud, doom-laden tolling of bells.
On the day of their first eviction, the Housemates' heads popped up from beneath their respective duvets with suitably solemn expressions
"The day is today, the dream is over," sang Dennis (presumably one of his own compositions) once the tolling ceased. He then slipped into a more familiar topic of conversation.
"It's Traci's birthday and someone's gonna have sex around here," he predicted, somewhat optimistically.
The clanging was perhaps harshest on the birthday girl - not the most jovial way to start your special day is it, Big Brother?
Nominee Jodie retreated back under her covers in silence, apparently not ready to face another, and possibly final, day in the House.
Eviction rival Pete leapt out of bed in a suspiciously gleeful mood, heading straight for the kitchen and greeting his companions with a jolly "wahoo!".
"Ask not for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for me and all men," George misquoted with a hint of smugness.
But for whom will Big Brother's Big Bell be tolling tonight..?
