Don't know if i put it in the right place

What would you say a chav was- i was having this conversation with my dad and we both think different things

id say a chav was someone whos really common, who wears longs of gold thick hoop earring which go down to their shoulders, burberry, have about 20 little kids all by different dads, died blonde hair, they were them stupid velvet tracksuits or ridiculously small hardly there clothes which are about 4 sizes too small, they go round thinking theyre hard all the time. yeh thats basically it, well thats what theyre like round my way and seeing as where i live is where the word chav came from, i think thats a pretty good description of them! :D

we have loads of them in my area in Dublin, we call them Scangers

I refer to them as scroats. I dont get the difference between a chav and a scally, but oh well.

i think the main way to identfy a chav is jewellry with there name on it. Like Earings with there name in the middle.

saying all this thoughis just sterotyping a chav aint that i dont think there is anyway to describe it but saying like the earing with there names on it my mat has them and she aint a chav, i have a necklace but i aint a chav

Chavs are just common versions of each othedr. They dont have enough of an imagination to come up with their own style.

I'd say a chav wears tracksuit bottoms tucked into their socks, loads of gold jewellery, burberry hat or some kind of burrberry, loads and loads of make up, and says stuff like; init, safe mate, yeh geez, yeh mate e.t.c!
I do say quite a few of those words though but i dont mean to!

chavs are people who go round in all the brand names i.e adidas, airmax, burberry ect. and most wear caps aswell - thinking there well hard !!! lol but there not !!!

I think Di Marco has it pretty much covered. I find chavs so annoying. Thankfully there isn't too many in my town.

i don't think chavs make themself chavs by the way they dress... it's more the way they act! acting like their better then everyone else just cos they think there all 'hard' and strutting around like they rule the world and saying 'i'm a gangster' every 5 seconds when they're still in school.

yeah i agree with that , because most of my mates have big hoop earings but i wouldnt class them as chavs as they arent stupid , i think chavs are people who admit to being a chav and are proud , but it is definately people who think they are something when theyre not.

same here theres loads. I think your right cause im not a chav but i wear football shirts, Tracksuit bottoms, and baseball caps but i dont think im hard. My dad refers to it as the Manchester uniform. I would never tuck my pants into my socks.

Chavs are what hangs around our bottle banks over the road in their stupid baseball caps jumoing from bank to bank and throwing the bottles around! i just wish i could go out and throw them in the bottle bank espically when they do it late at night horrible little ****s

haha !!! go NB :D ... can i watch when you hit one ?? - my brother was hit in the eye with a "chav ring" at school once because he's a goth !! if there aloud to be chavs why cant other people be who they want to be !? at the end of the day all the chavs need sorting out ! they think they rule the earth when they sooooo dont !
