ok my sis found this on another forum and sent it to me, i remember some of these things, but others i really cant remember! so anyway, any of you roughly my age might remember some of these things............

Ooooh, there are a lot of us born in 1991 who did most of them! He he, know I did! The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is particularly nostalgic for me and my sisters. In 2001/2002, when I was 10/11 I used to watch it, and my sisters where only 7 or so and weren't allowed to as the parents deemed it to old for them, so they always asked me to sneak them into the living room to watch it. I used to laugh at them when they got the lyrics of the rap wrong! Aaah, good times! Life was so much easier then! :(

Another weird thing is that Willow on SB is nearly 30, if you think about it, and some of us are only kids, and yet some of our generation overlaps. Tis weird.

Yes, I remember Tigs!! And those Dip Dab lollipops. They still do those! I remember in 1998 my best friend at the time Grace and I walked to the corner shop near her house in the cold and the rain just to get those liquorice straws with all the sherbet. We were only 7! Aaah, the memories! This is fast turning into a nostalgia thread! :D

Well, considering I was in my 20s (born 1970) in the 90s (Oh, happy days!) I still managed to do quite a lot of them, although my memories of the 90s were more to do with being a student and drinking too much.

And I can remember Fresh Prince when it was on originally in about 1991

i loved l&k but smtv was the best, it rocked! it went downhill though after ant, dec and cat left, do you remember chums on it and eat my goal, it was a brilliant saturday morning show, unlike the rubbish thats on now!

yep i had loads of goosebumps books, i liked the ones that you could choose the ending for, and i watched the tv show, the only one that scared me was "the scarecrow walks at midnight" that one even scared my mum lol!

yoyos, i had loads of them, i could do a few tricks, like the cradle one, round the world and walking the dog, but couldnt do much else! i was never allowed a tamagotchi, my mum wouldnt let me have one! :( though i stole my cousins a few years later so it looked like id had one lol!

haha i did that all the time, and also said "never" in like a really sarky voice lol!

we played pogs every breaktime, again, i wasnt allowed to buy many of them :( but me and my friends used to make our own as well lol!

- And thought if you stuck 2 back to back they would have a baby!

i had 3 of them, 2 came in the same pod and one came separately, i remember being really pleased when i got them in my stocking at xmas! i never really tried to make them have a baby lol! i never understood how it would work! and while on the subject on getting things in stockings, does anyone remember fart gunk? lol! my dad bought us some of that for xmas, i thought it was great at the time!

yep i had 2, one was from legoland! i used to wear them when i went on holiday with my pocket money in!

omg that was a brilliant gameshow! it was really cool, and i always wanted to go on there, and play the gokart game and go in the fun house at the end!

- 2 words, spice girls.

i remember the spice girls being really big, especially when i was in year 4, people had different coloured puffa jackets that said spice girls on the back, and the spice girl photos you could collect and people swapped them to try and get them all, i remember one girl in the year below me managed to get all of them and everyone was so excited about it lol! though i didnt really like the spice girls (i think i was like the only girl that didnt!). oh and there was spice girl choccie bars, cos when my sis was in hospital, my uncle bought some for us!

oh i didnt add the power rangers thing on there cos i remember them but i didnt really watch it

Anyone remember those little pringle containers? Remember them well as my mate brought one in to school fully packaged one day thinking that the pringles were already in there :lol:

lol! i remember them, on the back of walkers crisps and your school could get books with them! i hated cutting them out, i much prefered to go out to play! another thing we had to take it in turns to do at lunchtime (which i hated) was water the plants in the classroom and sharpen the colouring pencils, i always got blisters on my hands after that! :(

The 90's were the best! Saved By The Bell was just legendary! I remember one time my mum came downstairs and was like, Amber what are you watching and i was like explainling all the characters and their life stories! lol Pokemon card were great, but they got banned from our school because everyone kept stealing each others and fighting over them! lol! we used to play polo, cant quite remember how you play it (something to do with running backwards and forwards going p-o-l-o but cant remember the rest!) but i remember playing it. what was popstars? dont remember playing that. i was born in 1987 but class myself as a 90s kid cos i was too young in the 80s!

yeh we were told bulldog was dangerous but we were allowed to play it as long as we didnt play in big groups (which was then pretty pointless lol!) redrover was where you had 2 teams facing each other and you held hands and stood in a long line, the first team shouted "redrover, redrover, we want (persons name) over" then that person had to run from their line to the other line and try and break their way through the joined up hands, if they did then they went back to their team, if they didnt they had to go to the opposite team. we were told it was dangerous cos people (mostly the boys) used to try and dive over peoples hands onto the concrete lol!
