'Soapstar Superstar' contestants Richard Fleeshman and Roxanne Pallett are reportedly struggling to cope with the pressure of the show.
The two stars are hotly-tipped to compete in the final of the singing contest on Saturday (14.01.06) after wowing judges with their vocal ability.
But despite their success, both youngsters are said to be showing the strain.
'Coronation Street' star Richard, who is just 16, and 22-year-old 'Emmerdale' beauty Roxanne have both been spotted in tears before they perform.
A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Neither of them had any idea how intense this show would be. They have both proved they have amazing voices, but now the heat is really on.
"Every night they know they have to top their previous performances and the stress is getting to them." Richard is also said to be having a hard time adapting to having a host of female fans.
The insider revealed: "Richard has also had hordes of screaming girls after him. "He has never had this attention before because on 'Coronation Street' he plays scary goth Craig Harris. Now girls can see what he looks like without make-up, they're all after him."
