Never one to keep his feelings to himself, Pete has been pricked by the anti-fur lobby in the House and has railed against what he sees as their ill-thought arguments.

The fur-draped singer labelled them imbeciles, not that Pete considered this offensive. "They can be a fundamentally good person, they just don't know what they're doing," he explained to the group.

"Something has to be said for good intentions," argued Preston, adding: "I quite like Jodie."

"How can you sit there and assume I'm talking about Jodie," Pete said, deadly serious.

Then, in a futile attempt to not give the nomination game away, he added: "Not that it's the person I nominated. But it's a person that I never ever, as long as I live, want to occupy the same space as," he continued.

The other housemates sat around the sofas sheepishly, stunned by the vehemence of Pete's attack.

Finally, the ever-positive Traci broke the silence.

"It's great, I mean, we're all being honest with what we feel," she said in a curious attempt to lighten the mood.

You hang on in there, Trace...
