1 - you wont loose weight unless you limit your calorie intake. Try halving your normal portions, then filling up on fruit and fresh vegetables if your still hungry.

2 - Protein makes you feel fuller for longer than charohydrates, so try snacking on youghurt and fruit.

3 - A healthy breakfast sets you up for the day and kick-starts your metabolism. Try porridge or muesli with semi-skimmed milk or a fruit salad.

4 - Dont go food shopping when your hungry. You'll be far morelikely to give into temptation and buy naughty foods.

5 - If your prone to cravings, talk healthy sancks such as vegetable crudites and fruit to work with your - or when your out and about.

6 - Try walking instead of catching the bus or driving and climbing the stairs instead of using the lift, it all makes a difference.

how much do you think is possible to lose in a month

Sensibly it should be about 1-2 llb's a month, but more in the first week. I'm not sure how much is possible though

weight watchers say the best way to lose weight and keep it off is to lose 1 - 2lbs a week

no 3 is so true about breakfast,I use to only have a coffee for breakfast,and sometimes onyl half a sandwich for lunch, I was hardly eating anything and not lossing weight. My doctor said you are not eating enough, He told me to eat breakfast,and lunch and dinner, I thought how silly is that eating more to lose, well as you know it worked. I was putting my body into starvation mode and my body was holding onto the fat,as it didn't know when I was going to eat next.
