dont know if anybody knows this but found this on journey souths website www.journey-south.co.uk
i cant wait for their Cd to come out............

Teesside X Factor finalists Journey South today revealed they have signed a record deal.

Brothers Carl and Andy Pemberton said they put pen to paper last week after receiving offers from five record companies.

The lads could not reveal which record company they have signed with, but said the details would be announced soon.

Andy, 29, said: "We have gone with the one we wanted to work with the most.

"We are definitely going to be releasing an album but it hasn't really sunk in. The album will be dedicated to all the supporters that we have up here."


Carl, 25, added: "We are over the moon. All we wanted was one offer and we got five.


"We want to tell everyone on Teesside how appreciative we are for the money they spent on voting for us."

just got this off journey souths new website.......

Journey South album


Andy and Carl are currently working hard in the studio on their debut album.

The album will be a mix of Journey South original tracks, some of their favourite tracks from the show... plus a few surprises!

It will be released on Monday 20th March.

on't think it will be cause carl & andy have been singing around clubs for a while so i think they will have their own material look forward to hearing andy sing again :heart:

the problem is with signing with someone like simon cowell is that he is very controlling and most of his artists release albums with covers on. it is often better to go with a record label who lets you release your own material and gives you more freedom which i dont think they will get with simon cowell.

i have just found the track listings for the album.....all covers, mostly from the show.they did sing these songs well though.

ive just brought the album and it is amazing. the person that served me said that journey south were winning the battle between them and andy. he said he hasnt sold 1 single album of andys.

Journey South were at my local asda today! I so wanted to go but I was at school :( My aunty went though, she said they were really nice,down to earth, and they were gorgeous :wub: lol I've got pictures if anyons bothered:searchme: ?

i bought their cd and its really good, my mum opted for andy's. i have listened to them both and they are both really good.

Well the Journey South CD is definately out now. As I work on the checkouts in ASDA and managed to sell 1 copy in my 4 hour shift yesterday!

One of my friends gave me it today. I'm listening to it now and it's really good. Get it even't if you didn't watch the X Factor, it's worth it
