As the first night of Celebrity Big Brother reaches the early hours, conversations remain as diverse as Pete's dress sense.
So far, the house is divided into three camps - the obligatory early-to-bedders, the keep-it-lights and the deep-and-meaningfuls.
And in the blue corner - or the kitchen - we have Chantelle, Dennis and Maggot keeping it shallow, getting stuck in to the wine and munching nibbles from the fridge while discussing the merits of vegetarianism.
These guys have already checked out the sauna and pool, claimed their favourite ducks, debated the temperature of the water and even given us the first signs of flirting, courtesy of Chantelle and Dennis. More of that later...
While in the orange corner (ok, the living area) the world is being well and truly put to rights, courtesy of Pete, Michael and Jodie, who've taken bonding to another level. Talk strangely enough quickly transgressed from gossip on shopping and shoes to the more serious subjects of bullying and the downsides of being famous. Michael took it upon himself to act as guidance and advisor for his younger audience suggesting a move abroad as a possible solution - errr, maybe not!
Oblivious to any of the above Rula, George, Traci, Preston and Faria decided to grab an early night. No doubt there'll be more Big Brother gold from them tomorrow...
