MICHAEL Barrymore faces arrest if he blabs about Stuart Lubbock’s death in his pool during Celebrity Big Brother.

He was issued with the warning after landing in Britain from New Zealand — where he fled after his career went into freefall.

An insider said last night: “Michael will be aware he could risk being arrested if he says anything incriminating.

“His own people have told him to keep his mouth zipped.

“The most he will probably be able to say is how upset he feels over Stuart’s death.”

Police and Barrymore’s lawyers will be monitoring the Channel 4 show, which begins tomorrow.

And the station said: “We have to be very vigilant about everything the celebs say in the Big Brother house.

“We will bleep out anything too personal or that involves gossip about other celebs or anyone else. We have strict compliance rules.”

Live footage on digital channel E4 will have a 15-second delay as a precaution.

Former Strike It Lucky host Barrymore has never revealed in public the events that led to the death of dad of two Stuart, 31, at the star’s mansion in Roydon, Essex.

The bacon factory worker was discovered with “horrific” sexual injuries after he drowned in the swimming pool.

Homosexual Barrymore was accused of lying over the tragedy.

Now the skint star is set to get £150,000 for the reality hit — which has a pool in the house.

Barrymore has ALSO landed a guest presenting slot on Channel 4 comedy series The Friday Night Project.

He has already been spotted ice skating in London for part of the show.

Other CBB contestants are set to include Anna Nicole Smith, US basketball star Dennis Rodman and ex-FA secretary Faria Alam
