Jamie Cullum is in dispute with his record label over the direction his next album should take.
The pianist, 26, wants to follow up 'Catching Tales' with something more "diverse" but execs at Universal Classics are apparently pushing for a conventional sound.
"The label want me to record a new album this year and it's going to be a battle," he said. "I've got an idea of what I'd like to do and they know what they want me to do, so we'll just have to see how it pans out."
