Merseysiders 2006.

Hi because it is a new year I thought I'd make a new thread for Merseysiders this for the episodes of 2006. The episodes will obviously carry on from where we have been and later on today I will post Merseysiders top 10 moments of 2005.

So heres the top 10 moments of Merseysiders for 2005:-
1. Tommy Gallagher killing Damien Jones.
This was an explosive episode where Tommy killed Damien. Tommy blew up Damiens shop.
2. Audrey hiring a hitman to kill her huspand Wayne.
Audrey hired a hitman to kill her horrible huspand Wayne. She also witnessed it.
3. Veronica being diagnosed with Cancer
This has been an emotional rollercoaster for Veronica but she is still fighting but only has been given 3 months to live.
4. Susan slapping Tommy
Susan slapping Tommy shown her strength. She done this because of Damien being beaten up.
5. Dianne and Pauls relationship.
These two are expecting a baby and also are about to get married.
6. The disaster holiday.
This happened over Christmas and the groups hotel burnt down.
7. Tommy blackmailing Paul.
Tommy is threatening Paul over the death of Damien. He is making him make Tommy his best man and also making him work for him for three.
8. The new years party.
The new years party was a episode with no drama just a bit of fun.
9. Bens reaction to the death.
Ben is currently running away from home. He is upset with his mum for killing his dad.
10. The two hander.
This was an emotional episode where Dianne and Veronica spoken about the past and the future.

Scene 1
Audreys flat. Audrey and Pat are sat down.
Pat: So...what do you thinks happened to Ben then?
Audrey: I dont really want to talk about it Pat but at the minute...I fear the worst.
Pat: Look Audrey its a new year so when Ben finally realises that you love him and what hes putting you through he will be back.
Audrey: Hopefully Pat but I cant see it.

Scene 2
Manchester. Ben is walking down the street when a man attacks him.
Ben: Get off me! Help!
man: (Covering Bens mouth) Just give me your money and I wont hurt you.
(Ben hands over all his money)

Scene 3
The Jones. Susan is on the phone to her mystery man. Sam and Lyndsay are watching tv.
Susan: I think its time dont you?...Right come over in about a hour...I cant wait!...Love you.
Sam: Whats that all about.
Susan: Today you will meet the man who I have been seeing lately.

Scene 4
Audreys flat. There is a knock at the door.
Pat: Answer it...It might be Ben!
Audrey: Hopefully.
(Audrey answers the door and the police come through into the living room.)
Pat: Look Audrey...Ill get going...Ill see you soon love.

Scene 5
The Jones. Sam,Lyndsay and Susan are sat in the front room.
Lyndsay: Well...whats for tea then mum? Anything special?
Susan: Yes actually my best dish...shepherds pie! Look Sam I want you on your best behavior.
(There is a knock at the door. Susan goes to it.)

Scene 6
Audreys flat.
Audrey: Have you found him?
Policeman: No...but were on his trail...we have an idea where he is.
Audrey: Well get there then! And how do you know that its him.
Policeman: Well we gave your description of Ben the the policeforce and they put it out through media and they have several reports of sightings in Trafford,Manchester. So Audrey look up because your son is coming home.

Scene 7
The Jones. Sam and Lyndsay are watching tv when Susan enters the living room.
Lyndsay: So...where is he?
Susan: Come in hunny.
(The man enters and it is...Tommy Gallagher!)
Tommy: Hello everyone. Sam,Lyndsay.
Lyndsay: Tommy.
Tommy: Thats right! Your mothers man in the flesh.
Lyndsay: You have a gangster reputation.
Tommy: I know...but that is my other life. Your mum knows I wont let that get between us. I love your mum and I want to make her happy.
(Tommy and Susan kiss.)

Next part tomorrow. So well...Susan and Tommy who would of thought it? What will Pauls reaction be??

The Jones. Susan,Tommy and the kids have finished their tea.
Lyndsay: That was lovely mum.
Tommy: Yes it was and I can get used to that...your alot better cook that Barry.
Lyndsay: Look...why don't you two go to the pub?
Susan: I dont know.
Tommy: Good idea Lyndsay. Lets make our relationship public because lets face it were both in this for the long run.
Susan: If you put it that way...go on then!!

Scene 2
The hound. Dianne and Paul are having a drink.
Paul: Look Dianne I need to nip home Ive only gone and left my wallet on the side again.
Dianne: Youve left it again? Ok clumsy be quick.

Scene 3
The street. Susan and Tommy are walking across the street when they see Paul.
Paul: (looking shocked) Tommy!!!Susan!!!
Susan: Yes. You wont know will you Paul me and Tommy are a couple now.
Paul: YOU WHAT?
Tommy: (smiling) Me and Susan are a couple. Why you surprised?
Paul: I....Im not surprised. Tommy can I have a quick word at mine? Its about...my stag do.
Tommy: Go on then! Look Susan you head on and Ill be over in a bit.
(Susan heads on)
Paul: What you doing?
Tommy: What? Im coming with you because you said you want to talk about your stag do.
Paul: You know what I want to talk about but here aint the place.
(Tommy and Paul head over to Pauls)

Scene 4
The hound. Susan enters. Dianne approaches.
Dianne: Susan.
Susan: Yes Dianne?
Dianne: Is Lyndsay in because I need to see her about my hen night.
Susan: Yes shes in go over. Im just waiting for Tommy.
Dianne: Tommy...why?
Susan: Me and Tommy are a couple.
Dianne: (shocked) Tell me your not.
Susan: I cant because I am. Why are you so shocked? Youve reacted like Paul.
Dianne: Paul knows?
Susan: Yes him and Tommy have just headed over to yours.

Scene 5
The Jones. There is a knock at the door. Lyndsay answers with Dianne at the front.
Lyndsay: Dianne...come in.
(Dianne enters)
Lyndsay: What do you want?
Dianne: First thing how long has your mum been with Tommy Gallagher?
Lyndsay: I dont know not my ideal choice of boyfriend for my mother but what can I do? Its her life.
Dianne: Just be careful around him. Hes a nutcase! The second thing is why you are my maid of honour I think we should be arranging my hen night.
Lyndsay: Oooohh wat a party I have in store for you girl. It will be your last night of freedom and one never to forget.

Scene 6
Diannes flat. Paul and Tommy are arguing.
Tommy: So....what do you have against it then?
Paul: What do you think I have against it eh? Your seeing the wife of Damien Jones who if you havent forgot you murdered.
Tommy: I know that but hes dead so I can be with Susan.
Paul: Do you have a heart?
Tommy: Yes but its black!
Paul: Dont you think youve put Susan through enough?
Tommy: What? I love Susan you know. I do have feelings you know. And listen to every word of this I WILL TELL SUSAN YOU KILLED DAMIEN IF YOU DONT DO EVERYTHING I SAY. Then your life will be over Paul Dianne will leave you....
Paul: Will she?
Tommy: Of course she will.
Paul: Thats were your wrong Tommy. I have told Dianne about everything that happened on that night and she said she is staying with me. Were going to have our kid and get married and be the happiest couple in Liverpool Street.
Tommy: Well youve told Dianne good for you. Remember the threat I will tell Susan. Oh and Ill arrange your stag do!

Fantastic this is the first time i've really started to read Merseysiders and it's great. I have a new soap coming in a few weeks when i've wrote a couple of episodes and dont think it wont last cause i promise you it will. (I dont think mine will be as good as this though) :thumbsup: :clap:

The Lawfords. Leah is in the living room.
Jackie: Do you want anything from the shop Leah?
Leah: No! And if I did I would of told you.
Jackie: Ok,Ok...are you alright?
Leah: Yes Im fine its you your always having a go at me.
Jackie: You look abit pale all I asked is would you like anything from the shops.
Leah: Well...I don't!
(Leah heads out of the door as Jimmy enters with two cups of tea.)
Jimmy: Whats up with her?

Scene 2
Manchester. The police approach Ben.
Policeman: Hello are you Ben Nichollos.
Ben: No!
(Ben runs off and the police give chase.)

Scene 3
The Lawfords. Jackie is talking to Jimmy about Leah.
Jackie: Im really worried about Leah Jimmy.
Jimmy: Why? Is it something to do with her walking off?
Jackie: Yes. Shes been having a go at me for no reason at all. I asked her did she want anything from the shop and she ripped my head off.
Jimmy: Dont worry love shes a teenager. Shes just going through them years love. Shes just a moody mare!
Jackie: No Jimmy something is wrong with her I know my own daughter. Will you go and see if shes alright for me Jimmy because she will probably just put my head on a stick again.
Jimmy: If I must....women!


Scene 4
Audreys flat. Audrey is watching t.v when the phone rings.
Audrey: Hello...YOUVE FOUND HIM!!!!(Audrey starts crying) I can't thank you enough...your on your way now?...great and thankyou.

Scene 5
The Lawfords. Jackie is sat down when Jimmy enters.
Jackie: Jimmy, how is she?
Jimmy: Well shes been sick! Look shes probably under the weather.
Jackie: Im ringing the doctors and getting her an appointment we have to be cautious Jimmy.
Jimmy: Well all the doctor is going to say is she has a virus and tell her to stay in bed.
Jackie: Well...we will see what he thinks is wrong with her.

Scene 6
Audreys flat. There is a knock at the door, Audrey answers. The police and Ben enter closely followed by another woman.
Audrey: Ben. Your back! I love you son.
(Ben enters the living room)
Policeman: Look Audrey. Can we have a word in private?
(Audrey follows the police and the woman out)
Policeman: This is marg, Bens careworker.
Marg: Hi Audrey...Look, after what Ben has done with running off and everything we are looking into the possibility of taking him into care...But I must stress possibility...The reason why we are doing this is because we are worried for you and for Ben in case he trys something like this again or worse attempts to commit suicide...We will see the social workers later and we could have a verdict in under a hour. He would go into care for 3 months.
Audrey: (crying) NO...NO...NO.

Well so whats wrong with Leah? Will Ben go into care? Next part tomorrow.

Marg: Look we will be around later if it is necessary for Ben to go into care.
Audrey: I wont let him go.
Marg: You have no choice Audrey if the social services think hes unsafe he will go into care.
Audrey: Hows he unsafe? Hes with his mother.
Marg: Audrey look Ive got to go and have this meeting but the reason why we feel he is unsafe is because he ran off, we are scared he could do it again.

Scene 2
The Lawfords. Leah is getting ready to go to the doctors.
Jackie: How are you feeling today?
Leah: I feel the same as I did yesterday...shocking!
Jackie: Well we will see what the doctor thinks is wrong with you.
(Jimmy enters)
Jimmy: Right, do I need to come?
Jackie: Of course you do! We go to the doctors together and whatever is wrong with Leah we will stand by her.
Leah: For gods sake its only a bug your acting like Im dying!

Scene 3
Audreys flat. Audrey enters the living room.
Audrey: (Tears in her eyes) S...son.
Ben: Well you got you wish Im back!
Audrey: B...Ben its more serious than that.
Ben: Why? I ran off and now Im back.
Audrey: Ben that lady, Marg is a lady from the social services they are thinking of the possibility of taking you into care.
Ben: Why though? Nothing happened to me?
Audrey: Ben they think your in an unsafe environment, their coming back later to tell me the verdict...you could be in care tonight!
Ben: (crying) I dont want to go into care. I made a mistake, I want to make up for it.

Scene 4
The doctors. Leah is in the waiting room.
Doctor: Leah Lawford.
(Jackie gets up)
Leah: No mum! I want to do this on my own ok.

Scene 5
Audreys flat. Audrey and Ben are talking.
Audrey: Look the reason I hired someone to kill your dad was because he threatened us, he threatened to kill one of us!
Ben: I know mum! Thats all I thought about when I had gone. He didnt have a heart Ive just not been able to see it all this time.
Audrey: I...Im going to lose you for three months Ben!
Ben: I know!
(There is a knock at the door.)

Scene 6
The doctors. Jimmy and Jackie are in the waiting room Leah enters.
Jackie: What is it?
Leah: You promised to stand by me through thick and thin?....Im pregnant!
Jackie:....Whoose the dad? Its Nathan aint it?
Leah: Well it must be unless its that stalk because I aint had sex with no one else.
Jimmy: We will get through this as a family.

Scene 7
Audreys flat. Marg,Audrey and Ben are in the living room.
Audrey: So...whats the verdict?
Marg: Well,Im sorry Audrey but we think its best...
Audrey: No.
Marg: Look...will you bring him his stuff tomorrow because we will get him settled in tonight.
Audrey: (Crying) Ben I will miss you.
Ben: (Crying) I will also miss you mum...Im sorry about everything!
(Ben and Audrey hug)
Audrey: Bye son...I love you.
Ben: (Crying) Dont cry mum! Bye...I love you too.
(Ben and Marg leave with Ben and Audrey crying.)

Scott: Wow my little sister going to be a parent before me!
Jackie: Scott shut up! This weren’t planned ok? She was raped if your brain reminds you.
Scott: All I was saying…
Jackie: Just be quiet!
Leah: I want Nathan knowing.
Jimmy: You what? You want that scumbag to know he’s going to be a dad? No way!
Leah: I WANT NATHAN TO KNOW! HE HAS RIGHTS! HES THE DAD.
Scott: She’s right.
Jimmy: Ok…Ok Ill ring his solicitor.

Scene 2
Tommy’s bookies. Paul is sat at the desk Tommy enters.
Tommy: Any calls?
Paul: No…was you expecting anyone?
Tommy: No just wondering that’s all. Not long till your hitched up now.
Paul: I know! Got to have a honeymoon. Not got a clue how though…Im skint!
Tommy: Did I say you could have a honeymoon? Your not having a day of this year sunshine!

Paul: Look Tommy me and you where really close and you know it.
Tommy: I know.
Paul: What changed?
Tommy: I don’t know. I was scared.
Paul: Tommy Gallagher scared?
Tommy: Yes. I was scared of being caught for Damien’s murder. It gets to me all the time.
Paul: It was getting to me as well. Why don’t you try talking to Barry?
Tommy: Talk to Barry? Its like talking to myself talking to him. He’s either in bed or at the pub.
Paul: True.
Tommy: Look Paul what am I like? I’m blackmailing possibly my best mate into letting me be his best man, this isn’t right. Look I’m sorry.

Scene 5
The jail. Nathan is talking to his solicitor.
Solicitor: So Jimmy Lawford rang me to tell you that you are going to be a dad.
Nathan: Wow…me a dad! I never thought this day would come.
Solicitor: Congratulations! Do you have any messages for the Lawfords?
Nathan: Yes. Tell them that I want to be part of my child’s growing up. They will be shook by that.

Scene 6
The Lawfords. The phone rings, Jimmy answers.
Jimmy: Hello Jimmy Lawford…so Nathan wants to be part of his childs growing up does he? Well…It isn’t up to me is it? Its up to Leah, Ill see what she thinks. If it was up to me he could get lost but I ain’t a parent to this kid am I? Ok, bye.

Scene 7
Tommy’s bookies.
Paul: Look its alright mate.
Tommy: Look if you want choose your own best man.
Paul: Well ok then. I may as well ask you proper. Tommy be my best man!
Tommy: (laughing) Alright then. Look I think I owe you a couple of hundred from the last couple of months.
(Tommy goes to give Paul some money but Paul doesn’t accept.)
Paul: No mate…this is a fresh start forget about that!
(Tommy and Paul shake hands.)

So Paul and Tommy are now mates and Nathan wants a part in his babys life. Next part tomorrow

Audrey’s flat. Audrey is sat at the table looking at her plane tickets. Pat comes through.
Pat: Look Audrey just go! This is my presant to you after all that you have been through.
Audrey: I don’t know what to say…Thank you Pat if it weren’t for you there would be no point in living.
Pat: One thing you can say is let me help you pack! Ill order your taxi and you go and get some of your bikinis ready.

Scene 2
Dianne’s flat. Veronica is ill. Dianne enters.
Dianne: Alright nan?
Veronica: No…Dianne I’m worried this is the worst I have felt since I was diagnosed with Cancer.
Dianne: Eye your going to be ok for my wedding! After all I cant have the person who is giving me away being ill now can I?
Veronica: Oh Ill be fine for your wedding that is what is keeping me breathing each day. I want to see you get married!
Dianne: I love you nan.
(Dianne and Veronica hug.)

Scene 3
The Jail. Nathan and his solicitor are talking.
Solicitor: So…what are you going to do now? I’ve done what you want me to do what is your next step?
Nathan: Next step? Get bail!
Solicitor: Nathan they are going to just chuck that request back into your face you know they will. They done it with the previous appeal.
Nathan: Well this time is different, I’m going to appeal for compassionate release.
Solicitor: Its risky.

Scene 4
Audrey’s flat. Audrey has packed her case.
Pat: Look Audrey whilst your away don’t worry about anything. Just relax get drunk! Don’t worry, Ill look after everything back here.
(Taxi beeps. Audrey and Pat head out onto the front. Audrey gets into the taxi.)
Audrey: Bye Pat.
Pat: Bye Audrey have a good time!

Scene 5
Dianne’s flat. Dianne goes onto the floor.
Dianne: Nan call an ambulance!
Veronica: What is it?
Dianne: Its my waters…they’ve broke!
Veronica: Ok! This is it Dianne! Your going to be a mum!

The Ambulance. Veronica and Dianne are talking.
Dianne: (Out of breath) Look…when…we…get…to…the…hospital…rin g…Paul.
Veronica: Ok love! I can’t believe I’m going to witness my great grand child’s birth. I’m so proud of you Dianne and so would your mum if she was here.
Dianne: Cheers nan.
Nurse: Look Dianne when you get out of breath just use this gas mask.
(Dianne uses gas mask)

Scene 2
Tommy’s bookies. Tommy, Paul and Barry are doing paper work.
Paul: Ill tell you what this is boring!
Tommy: Isn’t it just! Barry go over to the pub and get 3 pints of lager we may as well have a bit of fun…
(The phone rings)
Barry: Hello. Yes Paul is here…
(Paul takes the phone)
Paul: Hello…Veronica, what’s up? Really? Ill be there straight away!
Tommy: What is it?
Paul: Its Dianne.
Tommy: Why what’s up with Dianne?
Paul: She’s gone into labour!! Look, I’ve got to go!
Tommy: Erm Paul.
Paul: What?
(Tommy puts out his hand and Paul shakes it)
Tommy: Congratulations mate! Come round later.

Scene 3
The hospital. The midwife, Dianne and Veronica are in the room.
Midwife: Keep pushing Dianne.
Dianne: Nan…where’s Paul?
Veronica: He’s on his way love, he was at the bookies.
Dianne: I don’t want him to miss this moment.
Veronica: Don’t worry! Ill go and find him! He wont miss this!

Scene 4
Outside the hospital. Paul’s taxi turns up. Paul gets out met by Veronica.
Paul: Veronica, how’s she doing?
Veronica: 3 centimetres dilated! She’s doing well! Come on, you don’t want to miss this for the world!
(Veronica and Paul head off to the room)

Scene 5
The hospital room. Paul and Veronica enter.
Dianne: About time as well! I’ve been holding out for you! Come here and give me your hand.
(Dianne grabs Paul’s hand)
Midwife: Come on now Dianne push!
(Dianne pushes)
Midwife: One more Dianne. Come on, one big push!
(Dianne pushes)
Midwife: Its there Dianne. Congratulations, you have a lovely baby boy. What’s his name?
Paul: Aidan!
Dianne: Aidan it is! Good job we got blue!
(Dianne and Paul kiss)
Midwife: Look I’ll leave you 4 alone!
(Midwife leaves)
Veronica: (Crying) I can’t believe it he’s beautiful like his mum!
Dianne: Do you want to hold him nan?
Veronica: Id love to. Dianne?
Dianne: Yes.
Veronica: This was one of the goals before I went…to see my great grandson born and now I’ve done that I am over the moon.
Dianne: Come here.
(Dianne, Paul and Veronica hug)
Paul: (tears in his eyes) We’ve done it haven’t we?
Dianne: Yes we have!
(Aidan starts to cry)
Paul: Oh no! Looks like I’m in for a restless time! Shove him in front of Match of the Day that will do the trick!

Barry: So, Dad what was it like watching your son being born?
Paul: It was the best thing that has happened to me in my life. What a week for Aidan to be born on he wanted to see his mummy and daddy get married.
Tommy: Stop being all soppy.
Paul: Sorry.
Barry: Its your last night of freedom and were going to celebrate it with a touch of class.
Paul: A touch of class? What? A night down the pub?
Tommy: Eye I’m better than that its my best mates stag do where out on the town tonight boys.
Paul: Well Ill meet you two loners here later…I’m going having a shower!
Tommy: Ok and Im not a loner. I have a girl you know but Barry well he hasn’t seen a bit since mum gave him a kiss!
Barry: Well tonight maybe my lucky night.

Scene 2
The Jones. The girls Susan, Lyndsay, Pat, Maria, Naomi are sat down.
Lyndsay: Well this is going to be a brilliant hen night! Dianne isn’t even here.
Susan: Well she did have her baby last night.
Lyndsay: But I organised all this and it’s gone to waste.
Naomi: It hasn’t gone to waste we will just have to pretend Dianne’s here!
Lyndsay: Right ring the doctors! She’s completely lost it now!
Naomi: Oh just lighten up lets just party for Dianne like she would have wanted us to do.

Scene 3
The hospital. Dianne and Veronica are talking.
Veronica: You can go in a minute can’t you?
Dianne: Yes their happy with everything thankfully can this week get any better? And I’ve still got my wedding day to come!
Veronica: Erm what about your hen night?
Dianne: What about it?
Veronica: What they going to say when you don’t turn up?
Dianne: What you talking about I am going to turn up!
Veronica: Ok….Dianne?
Dianne: Yes?
Veronica: I am so happy there is just one thing left for me to do know before I die.
Dianne: What’s that?
Veronica: To take you down the aisle! I can’t wait!
Dianne: Neither can I nan! Come on, lets go home!

A pub. Tommy, Barry and Paul are having a drink.

(A woman police officer approaches Paul)

The hound. Paul enters.

Paul: I was just wondering if I could use your shower because I’m a bit late and Dianne believes in all that don’t see him before the wedding stuff.
Maria: Ok then go up. Bathrooms first room when you go up.
Paul: Did you have a good time last night?
Maria: Good time? Look at my eyes their still in Susan’s. Stephan’s doing the food in the kitchen.
Paul: Ok then I’m glad you enjoyed yourself. Look, Ill just head up.

Scene 4
The Jones. Dianne comes down in her dress.
Dianne: So what do you think then?
Susan: Dianne you look beautiful. Paul will not know what has hit him when he sees you like that.
Veronica: I’m so proud of you Dianne your mum would be proud.

Scene 5
The bookies. Paul runs in doing his tie.
Tommy: About time I thought Maria had drowned you.
Paul: Look we need to get going we need to get to that church before Dianne.
Tommy: Come on then lets go.

The Church everyone is in the church when Dianne enters led down the isle by Veronica.
Paul: Now that’s what I am about to marry! You look beautiful love.

Priest: Shall we get started.
Paul: Yes go ahead.

The church. Veronica is out of breath talking to Lyndsay
Lyndsay: Are you alright Veronica?
Veronica: (holding stomach) No, my breathing isn’t right and Im in pain. It’s the worst I’ve felt.
Lyndsay: Look Dianne will be here soon she’s just talking to the priest.
Veronica: I ain’t ever going to see Dianne again Lyndsay just give her the message that she has made me the happiest grandmother ever by watching her give birth and get married. I love her…
(Veronica kneels over)

(Dianne comes over)

Susan: She just leaned forward and stopped breathing it was really scary.

Scene 2
Dianne’s flat. Paul enters through the front door followed by Tommy and Barry.
Tommy: Paul are you alright?
Paul: (Eyes welling up) What do you think? I grew close to her she was a lovely woman.
Tommy: Look Barry you go over the pub I’ll be over in a bit.
(Barry leaves)
Tommy: Right…me and you need to talk.
Paul: What about?
Tommy: You know what about Paul about all what’s happened in the last two hours.
Paul: I don’t know what to do Tommy.
Tommy: Think of Dianne she has lost her mother nearly. Veronica has been like a mother to her. Dianne needs you Paul her husband.
Paul: but…I doubt she will say much.
Tommy: No buts just go over there and give her your full support she will be so relieved.

The pub. Everyone is muttering about the days events. David approaches Susan.
David: Susan may I have a word?
Susan: Yes.
David: Well I noticed the shop on the corner.
Susan: This isn’t the place.
David: Well I want to put a bid in for the shop.
Susan: I’ll have to think.
David: Why?
Susan: Because that was my husbands shop and he was killed in there ok? Now get out of my face or I will get Tommy to deal with you.

Scene 4
Outside the Hound. Dianne is crossing the street sobbing with Lyndsay.
Lyndsay: Look Dianne give us a hug.
(Dianne and Lyndsay hug)
Dianne: (Red eyes) What was the last thing she said?
Lyndsay: The last thing she said was that you have made her the happiest grandmother alive because she saw the two things she wanted to see. Aidan being born and you getting married. She also said she loves you!
(Paul and Tommy come across the street)
Paul: Dianne.
Dianne: Paul!
Paul: Come here babe give us a hug.
(Dianne and Paul hug)

Paul: Dianne drink your coffee.

Dianne: I don’t need help.
Paul: Dianne yes you do.
Dianne: Can’t you see I’m grieving here? Just leave me alone!
Paul: Dianne, Veronica would not like seeing you like this you know that she would want you to get on with your life.
Dianne: What if I don’t want to carry on with my life? I want my nan back.
Paul: I know you do sweetheart and I want her back for you but she knew the time was coming.
Dianne: I was so strong for her but know I am not.
Paul: Yes you are. You had the biggest week of your life last week! You have been so stressed I think you have been a rock and Veronica would be so proud of you.

Scene 2
Pat’s flat. Pat, Naomi and David are in the living room when the phone rings. Pat answers.
Pat: Hello…Tomorrow? 12 o’clock? Magistrates court room 6? Ok then see you tomorrow.
Naomi: Who was that.
Pat: Nathan’s solicitor he has an appeal for bail tomorrow and noon and he wants us both there.
Naomi: I’m not going!
Pat: Why not?
Naomi: Because it serves him right raping a girl. He deserves everything he gets. He isn’t no part of my family.
David: You have to go after all said and done he is your family, your flesh and blood and you need to give him support.
Pat: You’ll be there I don’t care what you say.

Scene 3
The Lawford’s. Leah is in her room reading baby books. Jackie enters.
Leah: What do you want?
Jackie: Nothing!
Leah: Come on mum I know you want something. You can’t hide from me.
Jackie: Leah I don’t think you can cope with a child.
Leah: What you saying? Ill make a bad mum?
Jackie: No…
Leah: Yes you are and you know it! I’ll be the best mum in the world.

Dianne’s flat. Dianne and Paul are still talking.
Paul: Dianne after all you really do have to start thinking.
Dianne: About what?
Paul: Funeral arrangements
Dianne: I’m still grieving though.
Paul: I know you are but you still have to think of Veronica’s send off and she does deserve a good one! You can still grieve whilst arranging her funeral some people grieve for years after they have lost their loved ones.
Dianne: Paul you are right but I can only pull myself together if you help me.
Paul: Dianne I’m your husband you don’t need to ask I’m here for whatever you need.

Scene 5
Leah’s bedroom.
Jackie: Well I think you are too young to be a mother. It will ruin your life.
Leah: I don’t care!
Jackie: Look maybe you should have an abortion it will save your pain.
Leah: I am not killing an innocent life! Whatever you say I’m having this kid so the answer to am I going to have an abortion is plain and simply a big NO!

The court. Nathan and his solicitor are in a private room.
Solicitor: Are you really hopeful?
Nathan: Yes and so should you after all you have sorted my defence out.
Solicitor: Defence? That you have never previously been convicted? That’s going to really help isn’t it.
Nathan: Well if I do get my bail refused which I don’t seem very likely I will blame it all on you.
Solicitor: Nathan I don’t know how you can blame this on me you are the one who raped a 14 year old I think you’re lucky you only got two years.
Nathan: I shouldn’t of even been convicted.
Solicitor: If I weren’t your solicitor I would punch you!

Scene 3
Outside the courtroom. Naomi and Pat are about to enter.
Naomi: Do I have to come in?
Pat: Yes!
Naomi: Do you honestly think they are going to grant a rapist bail?
Pat: I don’t know but there’s only one way to find out isn’t there? Come on we will go shopping later lets just get through this.
(Pat and Naomi enter the courtroom)

Scene 4
The courtroom. Nathan and his solicitor are sat down at the front and Pat and Naomi are sat at the back.
Judge: This case, Nathan Lawrance’s appeal for bail. What is your defence?
Solicitor: Sir my defence of my client Mr. Lawrance is that he has never previously had anything on his criminal record you may check if you would like too. I would also like to add that he has made a mistake? Does he not deserve a second chance?
Judge: After all my years of being a judge that is possibly the worst defence I have ever seen! I do not grant bail for Nathan Lawrance.
(Pat and Naomi get up and leave)

Scene 5
The shopping centre. Pat and Naomi are walking down the street.
Naomi: I told you, did you really think he would get bail after what he had done?
Pat: To be honest, no!
(They walk past a shop and Pat sees a child crying)
Pat: I wonder what’s up with that child.
Naomi: I don’t know.
Pat: He’s only about 4 and he looks lost! Let’s go and see if he is alright.
Naomi: Nan leave it!
(Pat and Naomi approach the boy)
Pat: Hello…where’s your mum?
Child: I…don’t know
Pat: How long have you been here?
Child: Six hours mummy only said she would be a minute and she hasn’t returned.
Pat: Naomi what shall we do?

Pat: Let’s look after him he can come and live with us!
Naomi: Do you think that’s clever?
Pat: Well he isn’t staying here on his own.

Veronica: Mary he finishes work at 4 on a Monday, Tim is walking all over you and you know it.
Mary: He isn't walking all over me! He's the father of Dianne he wouldnt do that to me.
Veronica: And you think a kid makes him be nice to you what are you like?

Scene 2
The bow and arrow pub. Tim is at the bar and a girl is next to him.
Tim: So,are you single?
Girl: Wouldn't you like to know!
Tim: Let me find out then.
(The bar man Bob approaches)
Bob: Tim can I have a word?
Tim: Can't you see I'm talking to someone...
Bob: Now!

The marshes. Tim and Bob enter the living room.
Tim: Hi everyone!
Mary: About time you got back!
Tim: Be quiet will you for once in your life!
Veronica: DON'T TALK TO HER LIKE THAT!

Mary: Tim don't raise your voice youll upset Dianne!
Tim: So I don't care about you or Dianne!
Veronica: I told you Mary what hes like.
Mary: No Tim thats just a lie why are you here if you don't care?

Tim: Let's just say I was getting annoyed of seeing the same faces all the time it was really annoying. I just wanted a change so I had one.
Kate: Are you going to get fed up of seeing the face of me?
Tim: No! Of course I ain't I love you Kate more than I have loved anyone and I can't wait until we have our first born.
Kate: Well any day now any day!

Scene 2
Amsterdam bar. Tim enters and goes and talks to the bar man.
Tim: Hey rico!
Rico: Tim my good friend! How are you?
Tim: I'm fine what about you?
Rico: Never been better. Usual?
Tim: Yes!
Rico: So how's Kate?
Tim: Shes good were expecting our first child soon!
Rico: How longs she gone?
Tim: Well I'll just say she has under a week left until she gives...(Tim's phone rings and he answers)...Hello...Yes this is Tim Marsh...Oh that's great news I wont be 10 minutes.
Rico: What is it?
Tim: Im going to be a dad!

Scene 3
The hospital room. Kate is lay on the bed when Tim enters.
Kate: About time!
Tim: Sorry I had to finish my pint!
Kate: Well your here now!
(Midwife enters)
Midwife: Ok then Kate were going to try again now so after three a big push 1...2...3

Ronny: About time mate I thought youd got lost in the beauties of fatherhood then.
Tim: Dont think so I always have time for my mates.

Tim: I wish I did remember what I done but this hangover is really kicking in now.
Kate: Well I have hoovering to do.
Tim: Best way to cure a hang over is to have a pint so Im off down the pub.

Scene 2
The pub. Bob and Ronny are at the bar Tim enters.
Ronny: So you crawled out of your pit then?
Tim: Yes what a night we had.
Ronny: What a night you had.
(Stephan Stewart enters and goes over to the bar)
Tim: Im sure I know him from somewhere.
Ronny: Who?
Tim: Him over by the bar...thats who it is! Its stephan stewart from Liverpool. One minute lads.
(Tim heads over to Stephan)

Tim: You cant say you dont remember me.
Ste: I dont remember you.
Tim: Does Marsh ring a bell?

Ste: After all these years he returns!

Ste: Tim I think we better go outside and talk about something.

A bench outside the pub.
Tim: So how is she then?
Ste: Not good at the minute Tim.
Tim: Why? Whats happened?
Ste: Veronica, she died!
Tim: Veronica no...Im going to have to do something.
Ste: What like?
Tim: I need to go back she needs her dad.
Ste: Do you think she will accept you after all these years?
Tim: Well she will have too because Im going getting my case and then Im heading over.

Scene 4
Tims flat. Tim realises that Kate and Jessica are out. He collects his case and has one last look at the flat.
Tim: I ain't going to miss this place you know.

Scene 5
The airport. We see Tim boarding his plane.
Tim: Im coming home. Dianne and....Mary!

So Tim doesnt know that Marys dead. Tomorrow is the funeral Tim doesnt show up until after the funeral.

The train. Tim is sat down reading the paper.
Tim: Everton got beat again.
Man: Yes mate they have been playing very poor recently.
Tim: We dont get much english football in holland it's always usually Ajax and PSV.
Man: Holland your over here from Holland?
Tim: Yes. I used to live over here years ago but I moved away.
Man: Why have you come back?

The church. Everyone is sat down listening to the priest.
Priest: Our father who arn't in heaven hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses because we forgive those who trespass against us and deliever us from evil, amen...And know it is time for a speech by Dianne Marsh.
(Dianne gets up)
Dianne: (Crying) When I had to say...something a..about my nan it just came...fludding to me straight away. (Dianne looks at the church roof) I can't do this Im sorry.
(Paul goes onto the altar)
Paul: Come on Dianne Im here

Dianne: (crying) My nan was like a mother to me, a best friend in times of need a shoulder to cry on. When I lost her it was like a chunk ripped out of my heart she kept me going she was my pulse. Tim: I found out about Veronica dying. Wheres your mum?

Dianne: Why you upset? You left us. If I hadnt of heard storys about you I would have never knew you would have existed.
Tim: Dianne Im really sorry about leaving you I know I made the biggest mistake of my life.

Audrey: That Gallagher! Look love you can move in with us.

The Jones. Tommy and Susan are talking.

David is walking down an alley when Barry sneaks up behind him. Barry taps him on the shoulder.

(Barry punches David and continues to punch him on the floor)

(Beth follows Audrey through to the living room)

Maria: You what? Ive not had any kids with you. You know I cant have kids Ste. That means she must of been with someone else.
Ste: My daughter? You must be mistaken love.
Beth: No Im not. Remember about 15 years ago? You slept with a prostitute?
(Ste is speechless)
Maria: You slept with a prostitute!!!!!
Ste: We were having rows

Scene 4
The pub. Tommy is on the phone when David enters behind him and taps Tommy on the shoulder.
Tommy: (Turning around) Ill have to go I have a visitor (Tommy puts the phone down) Whats happened to you then?
David: You know damn well whats happened to me Gallagher!
Tommy: (Laughing) I know I do. Hes done a good job hasnt he?
David: I warned you Gallagher I know something which is going to be the downfall of the great Tommy Gallagher.
Tommy: (Ignoring what David has just said) Mmmmm I think I told Barry break both your arms not just one.
David: You should listen to me Gallagher.
Tommy: Why David? Whats going to be the downfall of me?
David: I know.
Tommy: You know what? What day it is? Well done.
David: I know I was in Liverpool Street one night before you know Tommy.
Tommy: Oh wow. Good for you.
David: It was the night of some fire at your shop. I saw you coming out of there. You killed Damien Jones!!!! Now the balls in my court. You cross me youll be going down for a long time Gallagher!

So who would of thought it David knows about Tommy killing Damien! And whats next for Stephan and Maria now that Stes daughter is here?

Heres the next part. And as you may see I have changed the format slightly.
1. Audreys flat. We see Maria sat at the table with her head in her hands. Audrey enters.
Audrey: You alright love?
Maria: No. I cant believe it Audrey why did he do this too me.
Audrey: Maria it would of been a one off. Think about it, this happened over 15 years ago. You were only young then. You tell me a person who didnt do something stupid when they were young.
Maria: Its not that Audrey its the fact that he kept it from me Ive always wanted kids, always. Thats my dream to have a family with Ste but I cant now, not around here, not with all these painful memories.

2. The Bookies. Tommy enters to see Paul,Tim and Barry happily chatting away.
Tommy: Erm excuse me...dont you have work Barry? Dont you run the shop these days?
Barry: Yeh but im on my coffee break. Whats up bruv? Your not usually like this when I take a break?
Tommy: Nothing,nothing. Im just worried.
Barry: Tommy Gallagher worried? Why whats happened?
Tommy: David.
Barry: What about him aint is arm fully broke yet?
Tommy: He knows.
Barry: Knows what?
Tommy: About the killing. He knows about us killing Damien. Hes threatened to hand my name into the police!

3. Audreys flat. Ste enters the living room to see Audrey hugging Maria.
Ste: Ill go. Ill be back later.
Maria: No...sit down, we have to talk.
(Ste sits down)
Maria: We cant go on like this Ste. Im issuing you with a choice Im leaving one way or the other but if its with you, you decide. I cant stay here with you. So we move away...or get divorced!!!!!!!
Ste: Im not leaving you. When shall we go?
Maria: In a hour. Im just ringing the taxi.

4. The bookies.
Tim: So what are you going to do?
Tommy: Ive cracked it! Were going to rob the factory on the highstreet, but the catch is we will set up David!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5. Audreys flat. Ste and Maria have their cases when a taxi beeps they head out onto the front and get into the taxi. Maria winds the window down.
Maria: Bye Audrey.
Audrey: Bye love.
(The taxi speeds off with Audrey waving at Maria and Ste)

So its the end of Maria and Ste. Will the factory robbery work?

Heres the next part. And its the factory robbery.
1. Tommy is walking down the street with his usual beeming smile on his face when he sees David.
David: Why are you so happy?
Tommy: I have a proposition for you but I cant say anything about it here. Be over the pub in about half an hour and Ill tell you more.
David: Ill be there.

2. The Bookies. Tommy enters with Barry,Paul and Tim stood around.
Tim: So what did you want?
Tommy: Its on I think tonight is the night we put David away forever.
Tim: Right we will go and get changed ready.
Tommy: Ill be back with more details.
(Tommy leaves and heads over to the pub where David is waiting outside)
Tommy: Right come in
(They enter the pub)
David: Come on then whats the big proposition?
Tommy: Instead of you blackmailing me, I have a way in which both of us can make some big money.
David: Really? How?
Tommy: Tonight there will be a factory robbery with me involved. I have sources that there is £500,000 in the safe. The option for you is do you want to join forces and have £250,000 each? Its your choice but I need to know because we have to get going.
David: Ill be there.
Tommy: Ok then be over at my bookies in about 15 minutes.

3. The bookies. Tommy, Barry, Paul and Tim are all sat waiting when Tommy gets a call from David.
Tommy: Its him...Hello, right your on your way over? We will be on the front in the red car.
(They head out onto the front and get into the car. David comes and gets in the back.)
David: Lets go!

4. The factory. They are in the office with the safe in.
Paul: Put the code in quick!
(Tim puts the code in and opens the safe. He takes the money out)
David: Get in there. Right lets go.
Tommy: David youve just dropped the keys pick them up.
(David bends over to pick the keys up and Tommy punches him in the jaw. Barry starts kicking David and puts the gun on his chest)
Tommy: (Pulling about £1,000 out of the bag and putting it on David) David tuttut. You should of thought youve been set up boy. Here have a bit of money...it might get you bail!
Tim: Come on lads lets go home.
(Barry,Tommy,Paul and Tim walk out leaving David unconsious on the floor)

Well then Davids been set up and Tommy now has £500,000!

2. Audreys flat. Audrey is sat with her head in her hands. She hears a bang.
Audrey: Wayne is that you?....Wayne?Wayne? Come here Wayne.

3.Pats flat. Pat and Naomi are sat in the front room.
Pat: Look, Im going over to Audreys.
Naomi: Ok.
Pat: Dont worry love he will be back.
(Pat leaves)
Naomi: Suppose.
(The phone rings Naomi answers it)
Naomi: Hello, about time where....YOU WHAT YOUR IN THE POLICE STATION? YOUVE BEEN CHARGED FOR ARMED ROBBERY. Ill be there later.

4. Audreys flat. There is a knock at the door.
Audrey: It must be Wayne.
(Audrey answers the door)
Audrey: Hi Pat. Come in.
Pat: Whatve you been doing then?
Audrey: Waiting for wayne to come in from work.
Pat: Audrey? Waynes dead.
Audrey: (Audrey starts crying) No...No...Wayne I love you.

So whats wrong with Audrey?

2. Audreys flat. Audrey is sat down on the sofa with Pat sat next to her looking worried.
Pat: Are you ok now love?
Audrey: Yes...I split up with Wayne ages ago. I dont know whats getting into me Pat.
Pat: What you like eh? Look I need to go.
Audrey: Ok Pat.
Pat: If you need me for anything just give me a ring. Ill call round later.

3.The policestation.
Naomi: So you went through with a robbery with the Gallaghers? And they blackmailed you?
David: Yes.
Naomi: And they left you with the gun and money?
David: Yes.
Naomi: RUBBISH! You know what David?
David: What?
Naomi: I should of never...brought you...into this coutry!!!!!!!!!

4. Audreys flat. Audrey is asleep on the couch she is dreaming.
Audrey: Pull the trigger...Pull the trigger....No....Wayne...Wayne...Wayn.
(Audrey wakes up with her heart beating fast and sweat trickling down her face. She starts to cry)

1. The street. A taxi pulls up. A pregnant Leah Lawford jumps out with her cases.
Leah: Cheers.
(Leah heads upto the door and knocks on. Scott answers)
Scott: Oh No. Good time?
(Leah comes in)
Leah: Yes actually. Got a good tan havent I.
Jackie: Leah love your back good job as well. You have an appointment later. I think its your final scan.

2. The pub. Susan and Tommy are cleaning when Ian enters.
Tommy: Dad...what do you want?
Ian: Can I have a word?
Tommy: Fire away.
Ian: In private.
Tommy: Oh. Come through to the back. Susan I wont be a minute just got to see what he wants.
(Tommy follows Ian through to the back)
Tommy: What?
Ian: I keep getting phone calls.
Tommy: So?
Ian: Off the Dingles.
Tommy: What are they saying?
Ian: Their coming for me.
Tommy: Let them Dad Ill smash them in good style. They will not hurt you ok? If they ring again let me answer.

3. The hospital.
doctor: Leah Lawford.
(Leah follows the nurse)
Nurse: Ok then Leah lie down and we will see where we are up too.
(Leah lies down)

4. The pub. Ian is having a drink when his phone rings.
Ian: Its them again Tommy.
Tommy: Right give me the phone...(Tommy answers the phone) Hello...your coming are you? You do that and see what happens to you sonshine. Ill make mincemeat out of you.
(Tommy puts the phone down)
Tommy: Prepare yourself for a war dad.

5. The hospital. Leah comes out. Jackie stands up.
Jackie: And?
Leah: Two weeks at most.

1. The pub. Susan is in the kitchen reading wedding books, Sam is eating his breakfast. Tommy enters.
Tommy: What you reading?
Susan: Wedding books. Weve got to get going with preperations now Tommy.
Tommy: As long as we both turn up on the day were fine.
Susan: A girl dont think like that we think about everything.

2. The Lawfords. Jimmy and Jackie are talking.
Jimmy: I cant take it any more. Shes our little girl shes too young to have a kid.
Jackie: We cant let her know that we feel like that we have to try to be happy for her.

3. The bookies. Paul is behind the counter when Tommy enters.
Paul: Tommy...what do you want?
Tommy: Can I have a word? In the back.
Paul: Yes.
(Tommy and Paul go in the office)
Paul: What is it mate you look worried?
Tommy: Im scared.
Paul: You scared? What of?
Tommy: Im scared Susan will find out about us killing Damien.
Paul: She wont mate. You really love her dont you?
Tommy: Yeh I do. Do you think I should tell her?
Paul: No you dont do that ok? Youll be fine.

4. The Lawfords. Jackie and Jimmy are flicking through the channels on the tv.
Jimmy: Nothings on!
Jackie: I know...boring mondays!
(Leah enters looking pale)
Jackie: You alright love?
Leah: Y.......
(Leah doesnt finish her sentance and she faints)
Jackie: Jimmy call an ambulance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
