I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks so. I love Dennis, and I love Eastenders, but the ending was stupid! the way he was standing there smiling at Sharon without a care in the world, and then all of a sudden falling down dead, and now everybody is going to making out that nobody knows who did it, when they saw him with their own eyes. The crowd only went in front of him a few seconds, somebody must have seen what was going on. It's pretty daft.
I didn't cry, because it didn't seem realistic to me. I knew what was going to happen, and I thought it was going to be a lot worse than that.

So did I. The way it was done it was like someone had eyes in the side of their head and stabbed him while walking past.

That bit was very touching.
I've been thinking for a couple of days now that they should have an episode of Dennis and Den in hell, watching tv (or a screen) and seeing (when it's born) Sharon and Dennis's baby. So they can look down on them and pass judgements, and find out how they are doing. It sounds a bit silly, but I think it could be good. Oh, and I think Dennis is a really great guy, but he did murder somebody, so they wouldn't be able to put him in heaven would they?!
I think it's sad that the baby won't have it's dad. No man that Sharon could get together with would treat it as brilliantly as he would. She definetely has to steer clear of the Mitchells. They are not great to their own kids, let alone somebody else's.

i think if i thought someone was going to have it in for me after beating up a gangstar i would a run away and b i would have walked AROUND the big crowd of people incase someone barged into me and stabbed me. that way id be able t osee my child be bron and still pretty much be alive! hehehe but hay its a soap nothing good or SENSIBLE happens in soaps! :)

Den wouldn't have gone to heaven either. Okay, he didn't kill anyone but after all he did. I think it would be good to see that aswell. I actually think (Not in terms of the law), that Den did more wrong than Dennis.

 no i didnt cry but i do like the ending
Nope, didn't cry at all (and I cry at the drop of a hat). The whole thing with Dennis and Johnny was too contrived - everyone knew that Nigel was leaving and the storyline should have been building for weeks instead of days.
I honestly don't unerstand what is happening with the writes and the storylines - we've had the Rebecca story buling for months *yawn* and then the other, more dramatic stories happening withing a week's time?
Yeah. EastEnders is officialy upside down. Walford is now in west london lol
as all ready stated all discussions of dennis: his character and HIS DEMISE are to be done here:
