CORRIE star Vicky Entwistle has won her job back — three months after being SACKED.
The Street’s gobby Janice Battersby was axed in September by former boss Tony “Chopper” Wood.
But new producer Steve Frost has given the 37-year-old actress an 11th-hour reprieve.
Last night she was said to be “thrilled”.
A TV insider said: “Vicky was devastated when she was sacked in September.
“So she was absolutely delighted when Steve started and told her he loved the character of Janice and had big plans for her.
“He has offered her a couple of belting storylines for New Year.
“She has told pals she’ll be accepting.”
Vicky, who earns around £50,000, had been told Janice had reached the end of the line. The actress had already hit the headlines for bad behaviour.
She got a final warning earlier this year after a drunken rant at Sir Ian McKellen during his Corrie leaving party.
Her on-screen dramas include her divorce from hubby Les and having her hair shaved after catching nits.
She also witnessed the rape of daughter Toyah and the crash death of lover Dennis.
