i was talking to some of my mates and we were saying how certain songs remind people of things. i was just wondering if anyone on here has any songs like that.

e.g. when my auntie told me she was pregnant baby goodbye by friday hill was playing so everytime i hear that song it reminds me of that time

I have songs that remind me of times in my life and of people, for example 'If You're Not The One - Daniel Bedingfield'' reminds me of when I found out my granny died as it was playing. in the background.

That song "America" from west life story reminds me of when i was on holiday when i was about 10. We went to Spain, but i wanted to go to America, so i sung that all the time. Then it started being played everywhere!

the irish national anthem reminds me of my holiday when we were all sailing in the worst storm ever and as we all thought we were going to die we started to sing the national anthem and Ireland ireland.

Also summer of 69 and livin on a prayer by Bryan Adams and Bon Jovi remind me of my year 11 at high school as it was songs we used to sing as year in assemblies and stuff and they were the last songs they played at my prom.

Atomic Kitten- Ladies night, as that was the song, me and two of my best mates walked into our last high disco in... (that was like 2 years ago now)

Reach for the stars- It always makes me remember back in Primary school when we sung it in front of the whole school, and loads of us started crying because we were leaving

Don't stop me now- It firstly reminds me of my old headteacher as we called that his song and also we went on a school trip in year nine and going home we kept singing it

Mariah Carey's all i want for christmas is you - it reminds me of when i went bowling with all my mates and we were singing to this on the way home.

I've got another, ''When You Say Nothing At All'' reminds me of when I found out a friend had died. It was the same night as Boyzone's outdoor concert in the RDS Dublin. From my area you could hear the concert, and that song was playing when I was told.

Happy Face on Destiny's Child's album Survivor reminds me of something I was dreading a couple of years ago, and then I listened to it and it made me feel better about it, so always listen to it when I feel sad about something! :cheer:
