hi i dont know where else to put this really but i have just got a new phone for xmas samsung z140v so if anyone has this phone or knows about it can you please tell me how to register it , it says i have to dend a txt to 17298 but everytime i try the message says its failed therfore i cannot register my phone please help!!

Do you have credit on your phone? It is the cost of a regular text to register a phone.

yes i have 1.00 on my phone but i have now realised that i have to call that number not txt it but i still dont know if im registered how can i tell?

I think its just because its really busy and their servers cant cope, think how many people are trying to register phones on Xmas day cause they got them as pressies!

I had that last year, so i waited untill boxing day and did it. Normally you ring the number up, so if you aint done that, and whoever got you the phone hasn't done anything, then i'd gather that it aint register, so you need to ring the number. It wont do any harm if it is if you rung it up. You might be told if it is, and if not, they'll do it!

I suspect they'd send you a text to confirm your registration after you call them.
