is pete found guilty?
btw i reckon bex and luke are eventually going to get back together, because she was really upset when she found out about claire and if he dumps claire because she didn't stick up for bex in court then it must mean that he still loves her.
p.s. is that mad mya?

no i suspect he gets off with it because claire doesnt say what she knows in court and it says about him speaking to claire outside afterwards so he mustnt be found guilty. stupid stupid claire

If he gets off I will be really peeved off because it's sending out the wrong message to women and men across the country I know it's only TV but women and men are raped and it's more likely to be someone they know than a complete stranger. If Pete gets found Not Guilty it's seems to me that it's saying that if it happens then it's ok cos no-one will believe you anyway. It may only be a Tv programme but if someone has been raped and wants to report it if it shows Pete getting off will they report it I DOUBT IT

He hopefully will be found GUILITY as he raped her so he deserves his punishment i think Claire will speak out against him in the end and justice will be done!!!

I think maybe he will get off with it at first but then claire will trick him into an admission when the right people are listening. Either that or in true soap fashion he'll top himself with guilt

I think he'll be found guilty as that's some kind've rule in soaps/television. If not it'll be like Joel Beckett Lover said and sending out the wrong message to women and men everywhere.

But if he does get found Not gulity which better not happen as i will not watch as it sends out the wrong message to victims and their attackers, and claire changes her testimony it will not help as you can not be tried for the same crime twice!!!!!!!!!

HE BETTER NOT GET AWAY WITH IT, I WILL BE SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MAD

i think he does get away with it as it says he thanks claire outside for not saying anything and if he had been found guilty he wouldnt be outside afterwards. i do agree that it is giving out the wrong message, too many people seem to get away with rape on tv.

Once a person is tried for a crime though they can never be tried again for that crime Remember Steve Owen the cops knew he'd killed Saskia after they found the ashtray that's how Matthew was released but he already been tried so they couldn't do anything

I think, that Pete does get out. Because, Bex leaves and I think she leaves because she can't take it because Pete's free. And doesn't wnat to speak to Claire again.

But then again, Someone (Joel_Beckett_Lover?) Made a good point about it sending out the wrong message to viewers. So Im not sure..xXx

I know it's only a TV drama but I agree with those who say it would send out completely the wrong message to women in Bex's position if Pete is found not guilty. It's already been hard enough for Bex to go through the lead up to the trial and the trial itself but if Pete is found not guilty, women will question whether it's worth putting themselves through all the trauma that goes with the trial if, in the end, they are made to look like liars.
Pete has to get his comeuppance one way or the other...
