Trader System - Your opinions

We've been toying around with the idea of a Trader System on Soapboards for quite a while. The system allows members to buy and sell from each other. We have decided to proceed with system, but on the following conditions:

- Soapboards cannot be held liable for any transaction (i.e. any problems, its up to the buyer and seller to sort them out. Don't pester the Admins or Mods about it - use the trader feedback system)

- Soapboards only acts as a facilitator

- At the completion of a sale, a nominal amount is donated to Soapboards to help running with the site. The amount donated is at the discretion off the seller and will go towards running the site.

Its to sell goods you nolonger want - e.g. cds, dvds

For example, lets say you sold someone a dvd for £5 through soapboards. The transaction is between you and the buyer. After the transaction completes, you may want to donate some of the £5 (e.g. 50p or £1) to soapboards for acting as the facilitator.

ive done things like this before and its been fine as you only do it if you trust the person so i probably wouldnt do it with something who has only just joined
