I feel so terrible

Long story, but I totally fell for this guy in the year below me a while back in Year 8 lol, told a couple of close friends this year, and wrote about it in a private diary on the internet that NOBODY could read. Well now I've got a girl who knows me (and who also vaguely knows the guy concerned) saying that I luuuurv him etc, and I denied it over and over until she informs me that she has proof. My heart did that sick plummeting thing at that point, and other people are doing it now and not showing me the proof. I have mentioned it to the guy concerned and told him to ignore it, and he's said it's fine and he believes me and he will, but I'm terrified it's all going to be revealed, and all I know is that people have discovered something personal of mine. It definitely isn't the private diary thing, and please please pleeeaaase don't say that there is no proof, really there is. It just makes me feel sick thinking about it. It seems like nothing unless you have been in this position, so please can someone help?? I'm really sorry about being so pathetic.

erm.just act like you don't care and they may stop. and the fact that the boy concerned didnt seem to bothered means that there might not be too much to worry about. just try not to worry about it. i dont really know what to say (this sounded better in my head lol) but yeah try not to worry to much. sorry i couldnt help more x

If I were you Charlie, like Lea said - ignore them. If they keep on going on about having proof, say to them that either they show you the proof, or they stop going on about it, as the guy you like believes you so you really arent that bothered. Hopefully that should get them to either show you what they have, or forget about it. But by showing you don't care, stops it being so much fun for them.

Take him to one side and caht to him about it. Confess how tyou feel. The worst thig that will happen is that he doesn't feel the same way, but at least then there's no secrets and you can move on. These girls are obviously really sad, and hve nothing better to do with thier lives than to spread rumours about others. Have you got lots of friends who will back you up?

i know you say that you know they have proof but maybe they actually dont. maybe they are just realising that this is getting to you. so they are making things up to wind you up ie saying they have proof when they actually dont if that makes sense lol why dont you try asking these people to show you the proof if they are telling the truth hope it all goes well lots of love xxxxxxxxxxx
