No I didnt cry, but after all the build up, she dies when he moves to turn on Santa...they could have at least let her die in Alfie's arms.

It's soooooo hard to get me to cry!!! I hardly ever cry like ever lol. But yep I did cry... 10 minutes before she even died because I knew it was going to happen!!
Very nearly, but it was mostly to do with the music rather than anything else

I couldn't bear to watch the episode, as I would have bawled. I howled when Ethel died

No I didn't cry because I knew quite a while in advance that she was dying on that night, so the whole way through I was anticipating it. I think the funeral will be sadder, to see Alfie's reaction to it.
I cried a little, but really sobbed at the episode in Normandy! Even my husband (who hates EE) had tears in his eyes for that one!

No i didnt. I think i laughed more than i cried. I have to admit it was a little sad when alfie was crying and then with the music and the extra bit to the ending theme tune, that always gets me going even if its something happy! lol.
I just didnt find it that sad at all really. (apart from the bits i mentioned.) I dont really think it was very well written, it was really rused and not really thought out. I could see that happening, the way she died, when they were decorating the tree i was like alfie will turn around and she'll be dead so because of that i was waiting throughout the episode i didnt think it was very effective at all. Was quite dissapointed. :(
NANAS DEAD???!!!
oh no :( i didnt know lol.
Living in Oz has its down bits now :(
