The media are saying Shayne will win christmas one, his cds are in prodiction to be sold on wednesday.

But i thought that the christmas number one was the song that was number one when midnight morning fell on christmas day...which would mean its this weekend number one?

I doubt theyd have a chartshow on christmas day so how is this going to work? :searchme:

My understanding is that the xmas number one is the number one single on the last sunday before xmas, and because xmas day falls on the sunday, it will be whatever is number one on xmas day - if that makes sense. Thats what has happened previous years if I remember correctly....

He was ok - by Andy was soooo much better at that song.

I think that the JBC song may keep the number one slot. All the granny's will buy it for their grandkids

i don't want shayne to be no1 because he's rubbish and also, all the guys swoon for him. he's performing in our local shopping centre tomorrow!!!!

i think JCB or something. deffo not the crazy frog though!

they should have waited and released the JCB song this week as a better challenge for number one. not that i particularly like it but rather that than shayne!!!

its says in my local evening rag that its between madonna and shayne
but i cant see madonna going to number 1 again
and what about westlife they went straight to number 2 so they could get to number 1
