so shayne won the x factor 2005 post your thoughts do you think he deserved to win if not who are you glad he won do you think his single will be christams number 1 etc. yay shayne won!

Shayne should not have won! He was good, but Andy or JS should have won. It was a bit predictable that he would win. I like Shayne but JS and Andy were better

From the start of the live shows people were saying Shayne would win. He was the favourite to win, so yes it was predictable really.

I am going on the fact that out of the five reality shows (not counting this X Factor) only two winners have gone on to success: Girls Aloud and Will Young, The other times it has been the losers: Liberty X and G4. Pop Idol 2 was a flop really, Sma & Mark present together that's it. I am sure others on X Factor 2005 will get a record deal

i reallllyyy do not like shayne i think hes just like everyone else.. and whoever he sings he sounds like. i think js should have one.. but ion the final 2 andy was definately better

gutted js didnt win but out of andy and shayne i wanted shayne to win just because andy had started to annoy me the last few weeks for reasons i can not explain.shayne is more likely to sell records though so the bp made a good choice,didnt want another steve.

All I can say its was obviously fixed!! Andy was the best tonight, he was robbed.Shayne is to similar too other artists and will disappear as JT is back next year.

i wasnt that keen on shayne but it makes sense he won because andy would just have been another steve brookstein,do well the first single and album perhaps then bye bye where as shayne should do well as the girls fancy him and he has a good voice

Yep Shayne is gonna sell the records, where are Andy would have been a one minute wonder like Steve. But Andy will still get a contract.

congratulations to shayne i am gutted that Journey south did not win but all three web suberb tonight. I love the new song and i think that andy's version was better than shaynes but I think he won the votes with his brilliant version of "over the rainbow"

I have no doubt that all three will get record deals and i look forward to buying the JS cd when it comes out

id have preferd Andy to win, but in the end..ANdy sings old songs and ballads, that dont appeal to me, Shayen is fresh, exciting and has teh x factor and ill look forward to seeing how his career develops over the next few years, lets just hope he dosent go like Steve Broksteen...

hi i agree with you, i cried when Journey south where third, the soo shouldn't of been, i'm glad shayne won though yay :cheer: . i cant wait till JS bring out a cd though i will def buy it cause i love them as well as shayne

i voted for journey south then later andy, anyone but shayne!! well all the young teenagers can buy shaynes predictable stuff and i will wait for a cd by either andy or journey south!! i really wanted journey south to win but i must admit in the last 2 andy definitely sang the single much better.

Journey South were good, but obviously Shayne was better, or yet again he wouldn't have won!!!!

I'm glad Shayne won i wanted JS to win and was gutted win there were eliminated i would to have seen them sing the song also.

I hope JS get a record deal and do well.
