it was so sad
I heard Shane Richie talking about Nana Moon's death on an intervew (I think it was This Morning), so that took a bit of the sparkle away for me. And I read all the magazines beforehand, so I knew it was tonight's episode it was going to happen. I did like Nana Moon's character, but I wasn't in tears. I probably will be more when it's the funeral, and we see Alfie's reaction to it.
really sad!!! i nearly cried!!!!
bye bye nana!!!

me and my mum was watching it downstairs and my liccle sister was watching it upstairs! i had tears in my eyes but my little sis came running downstairs crying her eyes out! i loved nana moon! " oooooo darling" lol aaw she was so cute i will miss her from eastenders aaaaawwww :(
It was very moving. I think the tears started to fall when the batteries died in the snowman and you could see nana laying down in the background. Very well done to EE, in terms of deaths it was very well scripted
Oh dear, were we all actually watching the same programme?

no becuase "goodbye my lover, goodbye my friend" its a song about loosing those close to you... and nana was close to alfie, it woiuld be an extemly sad song to play at a funeral, but if they want to make a gooden that would be a good choice to have

I've kissed your lips and held your head.
Shared your dreams and shared your bed.
I know you well, I know your smell.
I've been addicted to you.
----
I've seen you cry, I've seen you smile.
I've watched you sleeping for a while.
I'd be the father of your child.
I'd spend a lifetime with you.
Because the lyrics aren't at all inappropiate when played by her grandson. :p
R.I.P. NANA. :crying:. It wasn't as sad as I thought it was going to be actually. I think it would have been sadder if she had died sat next to Alfie and not while he went to fiddle with the snowman. Somehow, I didn't actually cry.

Okkkkkk now I would not have wanted my grand son to play that at my funeral, umm sounds more appropiate for a husband to play for a wife or vice versa,, but at a funeral of a grand mother,, totally un acceptable !!!:rotfl:
I'd so not do that at my grans funeral, even if I was a boy. My grand dad would be turning in his grave.

Siobhan my partner said the same thing,, hes stuck in a time warp,, when Nana had her operation remember,, he thought she croaked back then too,, tsk ...
He is glad she is "at peace",, he was wondering about Kat and Alfie if they had any kids yet,, ( shows how long he hasn't been watching the program  )

i know she wasn't exactly a soap legend, but she was a soap legend to me - i've only been watching ee for about a year, so i havent had as many characters to get used to, and nana moon has got to be one of the two (the other being minty) who i have grown to like most. i know this is a bit serious for me, but it was so sad :crying:
