Enrique Iglesias' grandfather has just announced that he is expecting his second child with current wife, Ronna, at 90.

Julio Iglesias Sr, whose first son Julio Jr celebrated his 62nd birthday earlier this year, revealed how he wanted to leave his wife Ronna something to remember him by: "My wife wanted it and I owed it to her. It was an act of generosity towards her. I leave her part of my blood, of my life. I need her so much that I said to her 'here, this is what you wanted for when I am gone.'"

The couple's first child was born last May after Ronna, 42, underwent fertility treatment so that she could conceive. Similarly scientific intervention is thought to have played a part in this conception.

Enrique's new uncle or aunt will actually be 30 years his junior.

Spanish singer Julio Iglesias Jr's father Julio Iglesias Puga died of a heart attack today, only days after announcing he was to become a father again.

The 90-year-old gynaecologist - grandfather of Latin heart-throb Enrique Iglesias - died at the San Carlos Clinic in Madrid, Spain, earlier today.

Five years ago, Iglesias Puga hit the headlines when he married 42-year-old Ronna Keit in Florida, who he went on to have a son Jamie with, in May 2004. Last week, the couple announced they were expecting a second child together next year.
