Coleen McLoughlin is going to turn her new mansion into a glittering Santa's grotto with a £50,000 display of Christmas lights.

She and boyfriend Wayne Rooney move into their magnificent £3.5million pad at the weekend, reports the Sun.

And they plan to deck it out with masses of lights and illuminated decorations.

Coleen, 19, plans the extravagant display as a treat for her adopted sister Rosie, six.

She dotes on Rosie, who has a neurological genetic disorder, and wants to give her a special Christmas.

A source is quoted as saying: "The lights will be out of this world - like a mini Blackpool. They're having all the family round for the switch-on."

Wayne and Coleen's new home in Prestbury, Cheshire, has taken more than a year to build but has seven bedrooms and a swimming pool.

I'd laugh like MAD if it's something that went wrong and it lit up for a second and went BANG!! Though they don't deserve that :)

ah i think its sweet that they are doing this

there is a house near where my mum lives who spend a fortune on lights and has every outdoor light available, they also have a big christmas tree in their garden but it is all for charity. Everyone is welcome to go into the garden and see all the dancing santa, snowmen etc but you leave a donation in a barrel for a children's hospital... i think that is sweet and kids love going to the house so they make a lot of money

ah thats well sweet everyday on gmtv theyve been showing decorations on houses and they showed quite a few who were doing it for charity and in memorey of 1 of the people who used to live there
