For those of you who haven't had children, either because you are a kid (like me) or just haven't got around to it yet, how many children do you want, what sex and what would you call them??

This is something my peers and I discuss all the time, lol, just thought I'd have a go at it on here!

Also, if you already have kids, do you want any more? What would you call them?

xx

I don't think you are selfish or will change your mind.. if you don't want kids they don't let anyone pressure you or tell you any different

Well seeing as I started this thread I suppose it's my turn!!

I want 4 or 5 children! I prefer classical names for boys, Nicholas, Tom, Jack, James, Ben, Matt etc. My favourite boys' name is Max.

I'm called Charlotte which is a very popular name, and yet my sisters have unusual names (though still quite classical). All these 'made-up' names aren't really my sort of thing.

For a girl, I think I'd call her Evie, Louisa, Pippa, Suzanne, Helena or Daisy.

I have one baby (age 1 today! :) ) and being an old fogey, I should really be thinking about the next one soon, as when you are as old as me (nudging 36) conceiving isn't the easiest thing! I personall can't wait for the next one, but I think that that will be the last. Given my age, it would be foolish to have anymore after that

Oops, as for names, I would have Charles or Edward if I had another boy or Emily for a girl. My little boy's name is William Thomas

I know! I can't belive a year has gone by already. Its strange to think this time last year he was only 14 hours old and I was in hospital drugged up to my eyeballs and totally sleep deprived!

Oh, and thanks for saying I'm not an old fogey! You are lovely. I do feel like one sometimes though, epecially when they cover an old pop song, for example, and I can remember going put as a kid and buying the original!

When I was pregnant with Will, we bought a baby name book, and there were some weird and wonderful ones there, including things like Rolo and Brunhilde. I just couldn't inflict that on a child!

And bless you too jojomum! xWell, my hubby is nearing 36, I am nearing 30, and I have just had my 3rd boy (2 weeks old), so you are definitely not a fogey, plus you live in the SW like me! :D

You live in a nice part of the world then. It's lovely down that way!

As for the baby, I remember that feeling of despartion becuase I was so knackered, and they just feed constantly. It only goes on for a short time, but whne you are there, it feels like forever! It's amazing how you get through it though

Jojo
16-12-2005, 23:04
yeah - I seem to thrive on it - already trying to convince hubby for one last baby lol

willsmummy
16-12-2005, 23:05
Blimey! Already!!!!!!! When Will was really tiny, I was scared stiff of getting pregnant again!

Jojo
16-12-2005, 23:09
I'm terrible - it took me 2 years to convince my hubby for us to have liam and whilst he is all clucky, I'm gonna try and let us have one more lol It will just be the one more though - not having any more than that...
