pictures on posts(plz look)

hi i was just wondering can anyone tell me how to add a picture to my posts, i dont know how and i would like to make my posts more exiting

For an actual photo, go to a host like www.imageshack.us, and upload your picture. Then post the link in your message and it should pop up. Thats good if you want to share your banners or whatever.

If you just want to add emotions ( like these: :lol: :rotfl: :p :searchme: ) Then click on "Go advanced" at the bottom of the page (just beneath where you type a quick reply) and on the right hand side there are emotions. You just have to click on the one you want, and it's code will pop up in your reply box (e.g. : searchme : but without the spaces) and when you post it, they will come up.

If you can't be bothered to go through the "go advanced" bit everytime, then if you remember the codes, and just type them in the quick reply box, then they'll still come up ( like the : searchme : without the spaces)

an actual photo? You got the emotion thing sorted you see.

Well if i do a little "step by step" it might make it easier
1) Save the picture to your computer somewhere
2) go to www.imageshack.us
3) click browse, find the picture and upload it
4) Copy the "Hotlink for forums 1
5) paste this link in the message where you want it, and post

It should then come up

As Luna said, if you want it on your signiture (like me Doctor Who one) then you need over 500 posts. If you just want to show a picture of something, then do what i said and it should work

well 500 for a banner and 1000 for an avatar

Although tbh, i think that you should be able to have text on your sig with a lower amount of posts, then 500 for a banner. Thats just my opinion though......
