Is any one watching this? It's the ITV drama with David Tennant. I am going to go watch the second part now so I am off to watch it. I just thought it was very good. Brendan is so scary, when he keeps popping up. I can't believe Troy killed himself!

I watched it it was really good Brendan was scary, i was on the edge of my seat till the end.. I liked the ending glad she didn't die..

Oh lordy - so much!!!

Lets see, Brendan left Kerry on their wedding day and married Miranda's friend Laura instead. Then 3 months later, Laura phoned Miranda to meet up with her and Brendan turned up instead - Miranda went to their house to see if Laura was ok, and discovered her dead in the bath (Brendan said pretty much that he had done it, but it couldn't be proven). So Miranda started going in search of the truth about him (instead of leaving it). Discovered that he had a sister and and that his parents had been killed in a house fire - he was the only uninjured family member - his sister survived, but had been injured (so all things point to him starting it). Anyway, Brendan started seeing a nurse and Miranda tried warning her against Brendan - they then took out an injunction again her. They then tried setting Miranda up, by asking her to meet up with the new girlfriend, but them calling the police round (so she would be breaking her injunction) but then the girlfriend managed to warn her in time, so that didn't happen. Then the girlfriend left Brendan and Miranda and Kerry helped "hide" her from Brendan. He went in search for her round Mirandas place, she wasn't there, so he raped her. Then you saw him go for a knife, follow Miranda into the bathroom, appear to stab her and then him leaving. Well, Mick (the builder) went round to move some of her stuff, saw blood in the bath, so the cops were called in. She was missing. Brendan got charged with her murder and was sent down for min 22 yrs. A few months later, the girlfriend sent tickets to Mirandas family to fly out to Australia for a holiday (where she had emigrated to be closer to her family). When the girlfriend met the family there was someone else with her - it was Miranda!!! Turns out that the whole murder thing was set up between her and the girlfriend - she flew out to Australia under Lauras identity (though it means that she will have to stay there now) so had ruined Brendans life as much as he had hers.

Thats the long and short of it anyway - hope that helped Abi....

it was excellent but i thought just a little bit far fetched. in the real world can you be tried for murder without a body?

It has been done....

I know of a few cases where it has gone to trial and there has been a conviction with no body discovered. It could happen again soon in the case of Geanette Tate and Robert Black - he is being charged with her murder even though they have never found her body....

You can go down for murder without a body. It happened recently with that austrailian back-packer.

brendan got sent down for 22 years for murdering miranda but miranda had faked her own death. she had drugged him with rophynol (the date rape drug, i don't know how to spell it), she had a syringe full of her blood which she put all over her bathroom, his keys etc, when he was drugged to make it look like he attacked her. she then went to australia using laura's passport and obviously has to spend the rest of her life there as she can't go back to england in case of recogniton. hope this helps.

I don't think she does very good at being nice, he is way better at nasty - Secret Smile and Barty Crouth in Harry Potter, he made a great evil person.

thank you i get it a bit but i dont understand wouldn't she drug herself with the date rape pill ? then it would be in her blood looking like he used it on her instead of the other way round ? im confused with that part! and and would'nt her parents know?
