Golden Globes: Full Nominations

Brokeback Mountain leads the movies section of the Golden Globes with seven nominations, whilst all the leading ladies of Desperate Housewives compete for best comedy/ musical actress in the TV section.
They're up against Mary-Louise Parker of Sky One's Weeds, which is also nominated for best TV series (comedy or musical).


George Clooney is up for best supporting actress and director, whilst his movie Good Night, And Good Luck competes in the best drama movie category against Brokeback Mountain, The Constant Gardener, A History Of Violence And Match Point.

The Globes feature 13 categories for film and 11 for television. Unlike other major movie awards, the Globes have separate divisions for dramas and comedies or musicals in the best movie and lead acting categories.

I swear that all the deperate housewives have been nominated for best tv actress. I dont watch it, is it even that good? They all must be brilliant for them ALL to get it!
