we knew it was fake in the respect that the contestant didn't know they are not going to space. there was only meant to be 3 actors which C4 have planted but it seems that Ryan is an actor too.. so is he in on the joke or are we the joke????

there is a big discussion going on about it on the C4 site... there is other people there who are actors too... maybe they are just parttime

I hope it is on the contestants and not us cause I am enjoying it so far but again it is pretty silly if someone could believe all that

that is what is making me think the joke is on us.. we sit glued to the program thinking they are the idiots, yet we are believing that they are falling for all this and know Johnny Vaughan, it is probably on us...

I knew I'd seen that guy somewhere before! I hope its not fake tho, its so funny watching them all falling for it. :rotfl: the best bit was Val reading that recipe in Russian and them all standing there saluting!

well maybe Ryan DID actually give blood and saved someone's life and they're the real people in the ad and not actors?
but then again, if i was one of the contestants and honestly i thought i was going into space i would be a lot more excited, nervous, scared, hyper, panic-y etc than the contestants seem to be on the show. do they not realise how big a thing it would be and that if anything went wrong with an actual mission into space they would DIE? why have they not wanted to see their friends and family etc before they went? all seems a bit neat and tidy.

I was thinking that last night.. Johnny vaughan is alway talking about how close to the truth the contestant are getting but if you listen carefully the contestant maybe letting us know too that they are in on the joke...
