I'm 18 and have been on the pill for 3 years and the past couple of months I have been bleeding in between my periods and is hppening quite regulary, I have been to the doctors and they are organizing tests for me.
The problem is I had sex with an ex boyfriend (stupidly without protection) and he "came" up me, but i had my period a couple of hours later could I be pregnant even though I had my period, I have had all the classic symptoms but I dont know if its my imagination playing tricks on me, and i think its too early to do a test its only been a few days please help!! :crying:

Buy an early response test - you can use it from 4 days before you are due, but buy a pack of two as its worth doing one test at 4 days before and another 2 days before in case of a false result. Let us know how it goes though and good luck...

Tasha, I would take a test to put your mind at ease but it could be just the pill cause problems.. I was on the pill for 2 years and I suddenly stopped getting my period.. I went and done test but they were all negative. the doctor told me to come of the pill but it was still 6 months before I got a period. My body just had a bad reaction to the pill I was on

but as I said, take a test just to put your mind at ease

i used the dipper ones and they were great. although i have used before and they have told me i was when i wasnt!!! very scary considering i didnt want to be at the time!

i found the best ones are early predictor( from superdrug) or first repsonse they bith early predictors

i did a test it came back negative, i did one of those strip tests where you dip the stip of paper in the urine. Does anyone know how accurate these are?I've used these before and they are generall 99% accurate like most others but if you have tested before you are due on then it may give a false reading (not wanting to worry you)

What pill are you on btw?? Combined or mini. When I had the implant (which is the same as the mini pill) I started having wierd periods, but it turned out that I was sensitive to progesterone so needed to take extra in order to stop the irregularity etc. And prior to that, they had stopped completely! Sometimes, if you have been on the same pill for a while, you may need to change it.

As for the test, try buying an Early Response one - then if you are not completely sure as to when you are due on, even if you are a couple of days early, it should give you an accurate result.....:D

Tasha it sounds to me like it is your mind playing tricks - you say in your post that it was only a few days since you had unprotected sex - well a pregnancy test wont pick up if you are pregnant until about 12 days after the deed - as the hormones dont start to rise until then, it sounds to me like you are stressing about it and the worry is making you feel sick.

Like everyone else I would suggest doing a test - I would wait 14 days after you had sex as you wont get an awnser one way or another till then

This may go against what everyone else thinks, but I would see you doctor NOW re the morning after pill. It is possible to use it up to 5 days after unprotected sex, although the sooner the better really.

I did another test and it came back negative again, but still no period. I think i have a kidney infection as when i urinate it is cloudy and orange do you know if this can affect the results of a test.
My breasts have also become very sensitive and sore when they have never done this before. I did the second test on the 12th day so maybe my hormones hadn't risen by then or like I said the kidney infection is affecting the test (this probably sounds really stupid) :crying:

no it doesemt sound stupid you are obviosly worried about it, why dont you book an appointment and ask your doctor to test you? that way youll know either way and you could also clear up your kidney infection?

would put your mind at ease then
