As he lines don not have to be straight, write the letter 'S' in front of IX, spelling out SIX?

heres another:
"A large truck is crossing a bridge 1 mile long. The bridge can only hold 14000 lbs, which is the exact weight of the truck. The truck makes it half way across the bridge and stops. A bird lands on the truck. Does the bridge collapse? Give a reason."
I guess that that depends on how much the petrol the lorry uses to travel half way accross the bridge weighs?
If the petrol uses weighs more than the bird - the bridge will not collapse.
If the petrol weighs less than the bird - the bridge will collapse.
I suppose that the weight tolerance of the bridge will also be approximate...

If the truck has driven half a mile, he would have used up enough petrol to allow for the weight of the bird, so the bridge does not collapse. (Unless it was just before Christmas and a big, fat turkey flew on the truck  )

the answer was that it wouldnt collapse cos the petrol had been used, therefore i guess youre both correct, well done :)
really sorry about the delay, heres another one:
"A magician was boasting one day at how long he could hold his breath under water. His record was 6 minutes. A kid that was listening said, 'that's nothing, I can stay under water for 10 minutes using no types of equipment or air pockets!' The magician told the kid if he could do that, he'd give him $10,000. The kid did it and won the money. Can you figure out how?"
lying under a waterbed, or perhaps standing under an aquaduct bridge or shower?
The kid filled a glass of water and held it above his head for 10 minutes?
Yeah I was gonna say bucket of water held over his head
Can you put us out of our misery by giving us the correct answer please, DM :)
