Gwyneth Paltrow is pregnant with her second child.

The news, confirmed by a reliable source after weeks of rumour, comes 18 months after the birth of her daughter Apple.

The Oscar-winning actress, who is married to Coldplay's Chris Martin, said she was looking forward to having a bigger family.
