I was in Business Studies the other day and I worked out this thing but I wanna know if anyone knows if there are any exceptions to it.

Basically, as far as I can tell, it doesn't matter what sequence of numbers you have, as long as there is no 0, eg:

123456789

It doesn't matter how many times you split it into separate numbers eg:

123 4 567 89

If you keep adding them up, it will always come back to the same number eg:

123 + 4 + 567 + 89 = 783

So 783 gets split randomly eg: 7+83

which equals:

90

and 9 + 0 = 9.

So for that sequence, it doesn't matter where the numbers are split, or how many times you split them, if you keep adding up, you will always get 9. Has this already been discovered by someone???

Yep I know of this, when I'm doing the books at work if I'm out by a multipule of nine ie 18 then it means that somewhere I've put inverted figures ie 27 instead of 72
