Thats what we are here for. My best friend has a wonderful saying "friends are the family we choose for ourselves" We can't pick our family and a lot of people are like yourself. Thats where friends come in. Keep your chin up ((((HUGS))))

I ain't ever doing anything till the age comes in law because Im worried my mum and dad will chuck me out!! Besides I got no urge to do anything but I think your story is very sad.. you got the wonderful kids and if she dosen't want to see them it's sort of her loss.. though she will always be your mother which deep inside you will love right? I don't know what else to say but Im sorry :( xx

I fell pregnant with my eldest when I was 17 and was lucky like Chance, but it could have been different. We are all here for you, so anytime you want to rant, you go ahead.

I hope everythings goes as can be expected at these times on Tuesday Hazey - my thoughts are with you.... xx

If I was you I would concentrate on the lovely family that you have of your own.

Your mother sounds to me like she is trying to forget how old she is, perhaps you are a reminder of the fact she is older than she wants to be.

If you are 24 and she is 40 then she must have had you at 16 - she should realise the help and support that all new mothers need is needed all the more if mum is young herself.

Maybe she had little support and therefore didn't know how to give it herself?

Families are not all like the Waltons, some mothers do not deserve to have children. I know that it is hard, and you can't just forget about her, but don't give her too many opportunities to let you down. Don't expect her to be there for you and try to build your own support network with friends. If she contacts you, great, but if she doesn't you already know that you don't need her.

Well done.

Hey Twinkle, sorry to hear that you are down but as you know were are all here to rant to and support you.

My parents changed a lot over the years.. when my sister got pregnant at 16 they told her she had to married the boyfriend.. he use to beat her up and when she left him after 6 months, they told her to go back.... she went to england and she has finally got divorced after 24 years technically married. Now they are much more relaxed, my niece got pregnant at 16 to a one night stand and they are so much more supportive. Your mum might mellow with age and then you can talk about how you felt when she kicked you out...

Chin up girlie.. you have many friends to help and support you
