When Zoë gives Little Mo a make-over, it’s not only Alfie’s eye she catches. Danny realises how good she looks and asks Alfie to put in a good word for him. The confusion continues when Nana thinks that Alfie is in love with Jane.
Elsewhere, Pauline tries her best to get Martin to admit how he felt about leaving Rebecca – and Martin tries his best to get Pauline to let it go. But, before long, she’s playing Martin and Sonia off against each other.

Keith goes to his first literacy lesson at the community centre but it doesn’t go as planned.
Meanwhile, Dot awaits her driving instructor. Mr Rawlins arrives to collect her as Mrs Bartholomew couldn’t make it. Dot warms to
Mr Rawlins but Patrick is quick to wind Jim up about Dot being alone with another man.
Elsewhere, Ruby makes a discovery about Tina and her dad, and Minty discovers Sam’s flat has been broken into.

Ruby quizzes Tina, who realises she has seen the photo. Tina lies and says that the photo was taken this winter but Ruby is devastated, thinking that she and Johnny have been dating for several months. As Ruby gets upset, Tina lies, making Ruby more suspicious.
Pauline can talk about nothing but Rebecca and Sonia tells Martin he must put an end to her obsession.
Elsewhere, when Chrissie helps Minty clear up the mess after the burglary at Sam’s, she makes a surprising discovery…


13.5.05
Ruby confronts her dad about how long he and Tina have been seeing each other. Johnny tells her that her mum knew about Tina and she understood. Ruby is incredulous and forces Johnny to talk about the fire.
Pat gives Tina a drink to settle her nerves while she packs, telling Tina she is making a mistake as she walks out with her bags.
Martin and Sonia move into the Brannings’ as Pauline sits alone at the Fowlers’. Dot tries to let Pauline know she is not taking sides, without much success. Dot tells Jim, Martin and Sonia that she is sure she knows Pauline will come round – but is she convinced herself?

Yes I'm glad that Martin and Sonia are sticking together, I was worried Pauline would get Sonia on her side. I read the spoilers for the week before and it said that Pauline tries to convince Sonia to go and see Rebecca one last time, I take it from this she doesn't go. I was sure Sonia would be talked round, considering how delicate she is as far as her daughter is concerned, Pauline is a smooth operator.

I really want Martin and Sonia's marraige to last, I don't want Sonia to be going behind Martin's back. Their relationship is strong, and they should work through their problems together. I do like this Rebecca storyline, but I think it should only proceed if Martin gets on board as well, it can't just be Sonia and Pauline, it just wouldn't work.

yeh chrissie did kill den. it was with the door stop which is the shape of a big metal dog and it was paulines. sam said she was going to get rid of it but hid it under her sink instead

I don't think Little Mo and Alfie's relationship is wrong. I think Little Mo and Alfie are quite sweet together. They've both been through a lot of heartache, but their relationship is quite lighthearted. They have a laugh, and it's all quite romantic (putting their marraiges aside for the moment), Alfie is great with Freddie and doesn't let the whole rape thing get in the way like Billy does. He sees Freddie as just a baby not the product of a crime.

I like the way Alfie looks at Little Mo, and how Little Mo looks at Alfie, they make each other feel like teenagers. I think both of them feel guilty but they do have strong feelings for each other, and if their marraiges are really over then I think it could work. I know Kat is coming back but I don't think she is going to be here for very long, and who knows if they will reunite. Plans are changing all the time. Even if they do it doesn't stop things happening between Alfie and Little Mo in the future. I do think this storyline has a long way too go.

I'm not sure what should happen, but I do want to see Alfie and Little Mo together in the future. I like Billy and Little Mo too, but I would like to see where the relationship between Alfie and Little Mo goes. I think their marraiges are so complicated, I like the way they are able to connect, and empathise with each other. Maybe it's more of a friendship thing than a big romance, but it's interesting.

If her feelings for Alfie have developed into more than that, she doesn't have to justify it. She's a free agent and so is he.

That basically means something someone without any consideration for morals or feelings for any besides yourself would do. However, yes, I believe there are many times someone can be attracted to someone who is off limits (in the family should definitely be considered off limits), but it is totally different to act on that. You can develop feelings for say an uncle (by marriage) but would it be okay to act on those feelings? Again, yes I agree this is Soapland so there should be a suspension of disbelief anyway, but when things are accepted as okay by the media how soon befre it is considered okay by society. There are plenty of other people in the Square for Little Mo to get involved with. I think it is wrong for the Soap Powers-that-be to suggest it is okay to pursue a "family member." People were insane when Sharon and Dennis got together. Personally i thought that was not the same situation. Dennis and Sharon were both single, not related, and never even knew each other. In that case, I see no problem. Remember the episode when Tommy approached Chrissie? had she acted on that she would have been wrong for a number of reasons. One, Vicki is her step-daughter and therefore she and Chrissie have a "family bond", two Vicki felt she was in a committed relationship, three Chrissie knew she was in a committed relationship (regardless of how one way it was with Den the dirt bag!) Again, no personal attacks here I just think it is a bad idea to get involved with a family members significant other, past or present. What's next Mo Harris, dating her son-in-law Charlie, Sonia and Ricky, Garry and Zoe? Let's face it if your sibling came home with your ex-husband on her arm would you expect her to "justify herself" or would you be happy for them and "just move on?" Oh and by the way, when did Little Mo or Alfie become free agents? Two hours after they split with their exes? Eastenders have done things like this before. What about the Kat, Zoe, Anthony love triangle or Sharongate to mention a few. Little Mo and Alfie is no more shocking than many other storyines!
