View Full Version : xmas eve!
what do you usually do with the kids on xmas eve???
everyone does something different
we get con dressed in his xmas pyjamas then draw santa a letter, put a drink, carrot, and a mince pie out then we hang his stocking on his door and get the xmas sack and put it next to thetree.W e also have to put santas magic key out by the back door so that santa can get in! connor then goes to bed we read him a xmas story wait till he is asllep.

we leave a beer out for santa and a mince pie, we leave a carrot for the reindeer and some water for them to drink outside!! then the kids take their sacks to bed and hopefully go to sleep!!!!

i always have pjamas for my daughter on xmas eve. Then she writes a letter for santa and i put a mince pie, a glass of milk and a carrot for rudolph. I also have a little bell that i hide and i ring it and pretend it's santa's sleigh-bells. by the time she has calmed down with all the excitement its usually almost midnight before she falls asleep. In the morning I sprinkle reindeer dust on the ground outside the house which is made from dried porrige and glitter.

i dont think christmas is the same after you find out hes not real
as i was the oldest i started to help my mum to be santa when i found out, i think i was about 10 ish, and that was fun knowing something they don't!!!!
my eldest is 10 now and i think he has an idea, he is bound to be told at school by some horrid kid anyway!!!!! there is always one!!!

yes there is, if my daughter had told someone else i would have been horrified and told her off. its nice if they just grow up and find out for themselves.
