Week 1 Press-Office spoilers(02/01/06 - 06/01/06)

Monday
Deano Wicks arrives in Walford, having hitch-hiked a lift in a van.
He wanders around the Square looking for his Great Aunty Pat,
but ends up meeting lots of the residents beforehand.
When he finally meets Pat, she agrees to let him stay, but is fully
aware that she is in the presence of a typical Wicks charmer.

Tuesday
Gus is intrigued to hear that Deano has come up with a scheme
to save Wellard.
Pauline lets Phil in on a secret but is left troubled by his
strange behaviour.
Elsewhere, Mike’s presence begins to create tension in the
Miller household.

Thursday
Ruby regrets taking Stacey’s advice and tells her that she doesn’t
need her help. However, she soon changes her mind and gets
herself dolled up to head down to the Vic.
Elsewhere, Rosie tells Mike she wants him to leave.

Friday
Mike’s presence continues to cause tension between Keith and
Rosie. Keith is annoyed when Mike monopolises the television and
takes Genghis out for a walk. He’s put out and tells Rosie that
Mike seems to have his feet well and truly under the table.
Elsewhere, Deano’s campaign to help free Wellard continues to
antagonise Ian.

It's not a great first storyline, having him free Wellard is it?! But maybe his charm will pull it off for him.

if dennis dies on new years eve then i think this week we'll have all the reactions and possibly a funeral.... becuase come on the bbc are going to conceal this for aslong as they can, and you cant have 2 hours of episodes about Wellard and the Millers!?

How predictable is it to involve Deano in a storyline with Ian as soon as he sets foot in Walford? Yes, we know about the history between Ian and the Wicks' men but this is so contrived.

Do you think Pauline tells Phil about Sharon's baby? She would obviously be very worried about her and I can't think of any other secret Pauline would tell Phil.

I think once Phil knows about the baby he is going to deeply regret pressurising Dennis into going after Johnny. After all, whatever else Phil may be, he does appreciate family, especially as he has no contact with his own children. I reckon if Phil looked after Sharon for the rest of her life he could never make up for what he has taken away from her! :angry:

I think she does. I don't know why, I think it's because she thinks Phil is the one that is being there for her the most. Again I don't know why?! All he thinks about is himself, and how things are going to effect him!
