Babs fails to persuade Sami not to go through with the wedding.
Doug promises Cat he’ll be home for dinner after spending so much time working lately.
Meredith smugly tells George and Hector that Markham is taking her on holiday.
Yasmin pretends not to care when she discovers Marc has been out on the pull.
Faroush thanks Sami for going through with the wedding for their parents’ sake.
Cat finds Tony nearly crying. He tells her his wife Tina has left him.
Sami is stunned when Brett returns to Charnham. Aamina insists Brett comes to the wedding.
Tony wishes he had made an effort to save his marriage and inadvertently makes cat feel guilty about how she is treating Doug.
Brett tells Sami he is there to support him and doesn’t want to lose him as a friend.
George is shocked that Meredith has faked a dying relative as an excuse to get time off work to go on holiday.
Cat rejects Tony’s invitation for a drink and goes home to make dinner for Doug instead.
Sami is touched by Yousef’s reminiscing about his own wedding day and his love for Aamina.
Cat is disappointed when Doug arrives home too late for dinner and doesn’t notice the effort she has gone to.
Throughout the wedding service Sami and Brett’s eyes are locked on each other. Not being able to keep up the pretence any longer, Sami stops the wedding.

Sami walks out and Shireen follows begging him to go through with the wedding.
Cat and Tony console each other about their miserable lives.
Shireen orders Brett to convince Sami to go through with the wedding and then leave.
Brett encourages Sami to go through with the wedding – but Sami tells him he doesn’t want to keep their relationship secret anymore.
Shireen viciously announces to everyone that Sami is gay. When Sami confirms this Aamina throws him out of the house.
Sami blames himself for losing his family. He is determined that he should be the one to tell his father that he’s gay.
Markham and Meredith have to sleep in the airport as their flight has been delayed.
Sami arrives to see his father but is too late – his father has died and Sami blames himself.
Babs quits the panto when Cat tells her they’ve all had enough for the night.
Cat and Tony settle down with a bottle of gin. As the conversation gets more flirtatious, they kiss.
Wednesday, 7th December 2005 at 18:30 on Five
Brett tries to comfort a grieving Sami who now regrets not going through with the wedding.
Babs agrees to re-join the panto but is worried about Cat’s affections for Tony.
Meredith is angry at Markham for their holiday not going according to plan.
Doug is confused when Babs advises him to spend more time with Cat.
Hector nearly catches Cat and Tony kissing.
Doug tells Justin that he has been working long hours to pay for a cruise for Cat. Justin advises him to tell her.
An angry Faroush tells Sami to stay away from their father’s funeral.
Desperate not to lose face, Meredith dresses in a swim suit and sends George and Hector a photo of herself to pretend she’s on the beach, not stuck in an airport.
Justin advises Doug to surprise Cat at the rehearsals with some flowers.
Babs is furious when Yasmin falls off the stage and hurts her ankle.
Sami stands on the sidelines of his father’s funeral, knowing he can’t approach. He is heartbroken when Aamina disowns him after accusing him of killing Yousef.
Doug arrives at the hall to surprise Cat but is left devastated when he sees with his own eyes, evidence of Cat’s philandering ways.

Doug sits alone, looking at his cruise tickets. He is devastated.
Cat wraps a gift for Tony before accidentally breaking her wedding photo.
Meredith claims she’s going to find herself a new man until an announcement says their flight is now ready.
Sami is shocked to find himself face to face with Aamina. He tries to comfort his greiving mother.
Cat is troubled when she sees a young woman arriving with Tony. She is heartbroken when Tony tells her the woman he arrived with was Tina and they’re back together.
Cat’s performance is thrown by her confused feelings for Tony and Doug.
Meredith loses her temper with the flight attendant and is led away by security.
Sami is devastated when Aamina asks him to get help for being gay.
Doug tries to talk to Tony about what he saw but he gets distracted by Davie.
Sami tells Aamina she’ll have to accept his sexuality.
A furious Meredith is released from her interview with airport security and demands to go home.
The happy cast take their curtain call but Cat is heartbroken when Tony tells her he was just using her for sex.

Aamina sits in a police cell showing no emotion about what she has done to Sami.
Cat tries to conceal her heartache when Doug and Davie surprise her with breakfast in bed.
A confused Sami wakes up and Brett has to remind him that Aamina stabbed him.
Babs tells a heartbroken Cat not to let Tony get the better of her.
Sami tells Brett he still wants to go to Australia. They say their goodbyes to Yasmin.
A fuming Meredith returns from her holiday at the airport, but keeps up the pretence that they had a great time.
Hector invites a delighted George for a few drinks after the final panto performance.
Babs and Cat spot Tony trying to chat up a chorus member and quickly tell her that Tony’s married.
Yasmin tries to arrange a date with Damian but they are interrupted by Cat.
