Charlotte Church's mother has left hospital after taking an overdose of paracetamol.
Maria Church, 39, apparently took large amounts of the drug amidst rumours that her 13-year old marriage to James Church is in trouble.
Charlotte collected her mother from the hospital yesterday. An onlooker said: "You could see the worry etched on Charlotte's face. She is clearly concerned for her mother. There was no sign of James."
Rumours over the marriage were fuelled last week when Maria attended the opening of a nursery with her face cut and bruised. "You could clearly see the injury to her face but she didn't want to talk about it," said nursery owner Sue Evans.
