He still owns them as far as I know, they're just not mentioned anymore. That's normal for EastEnders.
Doesn't make sense. A person with that much property in London working as a mechanic?
maybe he sold it?? do we ever see they flats now?
If he sold them, he must have made a fortune from them

they were lost during Minty's personality transplant. he was a right nasty one when he came into it, remember he was Janine's landlord as well and was brought in as a dodgy mate of Phils.

We haven't seen them since Laura and Pat moved out of their rooms in them.

maybe they are gone- where is dennis and sharon living
They got their flat through a mate of Phil but if it had been Minty i'm sure he would have told them so.

Perhaps that's why he only plays poker for £100 stakes...but then why bother to work as a mechanic, especially for Ian?
Because otherwise the money would run out eventually and he is good mates with the Mitchells and they owned it when he first took the job.

Me five! lol. I didnt know he sold them!
Surely he would have had to sell them cause he is currently renting a flat from Johnny Allen. If he owned flats then would he not live there.. Maybe he sold them to help Sam that time she need money and was ripped off???? :searchme:

I don't think Minty owned the flats; I think he just managed them for someone.
I thought he was just the bloke who collected the rent, not the owner cant see him working for Ian etc if he owned that much property in London especially with the price of property down there !
He was the owner. It became obvious when Janine used to live in one.

He was the owner. It became obvious when Janine used to live in one.
According to the BBC's official Eastenders' Website, he managed the flats.
The property was managed by Minty Peterson. He's no longer involved with the property since it changed ownership.
So he didn't own them. He only managed them.

Yes.
He did own them when he first came into the show

I don't think he did. He was always the "heavy" who sorted out the non-payers.

Why would have sold it, made stacks of money and then go and work for Ian?
as far as I can remember he did'nt own them, he just collected the rent.
