I don't think it's a mutual attraction though (if it does happen). I read an interview with Debra Stephenson (Frankie) and she said that Frankie doesn't feel that way but she can't say how he feels. I can't remember where I read it but a lot of people have probably seen it too.

I could see how Jamie could fall for her. They are both in the same situation, they've both been cheated on, and are spending more time together alone. He sees Frankie being there for him, like neither of his parents are. Maybe for the first time in his life he sees her in a new light.

I don't really see a romantic relationship on the horizon. I think it would be very strange, Frankie has seen Jamie as her son for so long, it would be very confusing, if that relationship suddenly changed. It's the one bit of stability in their lives.

Yes, it will definetely change things. But I suppose things are already different, with Carol turning up. It's made Frankie question her relationship with Jamie (that she's not really his mum). She probably feels an outsider.

I do think since Frankie's been very much like his mum since he was very little, things will be very complicated, if they decide to pursue this. Everybody is going to have something to say about it.

I think now Frankie has seen Danny cheat on her again with Leanne, she is probably even more vulnerable than ever. Together with the fact that Jamie and Carol are growing a lot closer and she probably feels left out.

Jamie goes away after the new years kiss right? Im thinking they are just gonna make him return having figured it all out in his head that he was just confused about Frankie but Im really hoping they dont do that! I think he will realise that it wasn't just Carol's over active imagination. I think he knew that before, but it was easier to blame it on his mum. It's hard to face up to the truth sometimes.

I don't think Frankie feels the same way as Jamie. If she did then she'd be feeling uncomfortable around him too, and she seems very relaxed in his company. Maybe Frankie will take time to realise her developing feelings for him. If the writers are considering bringing these too together it could be a good idea. I think it will cause a lot of controversy on the street, but that's the best kind of drama, isn't it?! It could be like Sharon and Dennis.

I think tnight she sits him down to discuss it, he tells her he is confused about his feelings for her but she assures him that Carol has twisted his mind and they agree that they are more like mother and son... but not for long! ;)
It also says in the paper that 55% of viewers voted that they should have a relationship so lets hope the writers listen to the viewers and Debra!! ;)

I think they are bound to explore the relationship with Frankie and Jamie at some point, otherwise it would be a wasted opportunity. I'm not sure about Nathan, he's been in it a while but we haven't really seen his character develop much.
