Jake: What?
She fell to the ground clutching her stomach.
Chrissie: The baby's coming.
Jake: WHAT?!?
Chrissie: THE BABY'S COMING!
Jake: Oh my god!
Chrissie: Wait they're only the first contractions. Carry on with the ceremony.
Jake: Chrissie, you are having a baby!
Chrissie: Well I may sound old-fashioned Jake, but I want to be married before I have kids.
Jake: You're the boss.
Chrissie: I most certainly am. Now carry on.
Minister: -Frowning slightly- Ok then. Do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?
Chrissie: I do.
Minister: Rings.
Danny turned his jacket inside out but couldn't find them.
Jake: Oh don't tell me you've gone and forgotten the rings!
Danny: Ok I won't..
Jake: DANNY! I gave you one job and you mucked it up!..-Danny stood looking down at his shoes feeling stupid-..Well go and get them then!
Danny: Oh right!
He ran out and returned in about a minute.
Danny: Here.
Jake put Chrissie's ring on her finger and she did the same with his.
Minister: I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.
Jake kissed her on the cheek.
The ambulance arrived moments later. Chrissie was carried out on stretchers and put in the back.
Jake: Breathe...Breathe...Bre--
Chrissie: Jake if you say "breathe" one more time, I'm warning you, I'll break your arm!
Jake: Oooh hormones!
Chrissie: JAKE!
Jake: Alright, alright.
He jumped in the back with Chrissie and the ambulance drove off to the hospital..

PART 27
Jake mopped the beads of sweat from Chrissie's forehead. She was in the hospital having the baby.
Dr: Okay now, push.
She squeezed Jake's hand hard as she did this.
Jake: Owwwwwww!
He shook it.
Chrissie: You think that's painful? Well do you wanna have this baby for me?
Jake: No thankyou.
Chrissie pushed again. She screamed in pain.
Dr: It's almost over. Just one more push.
She pushed once more and the pain was over. She'd had the baby.
Dr: It's a girl!
The midwife cleaned the baby and wrapped her in a blanket. She handed her to Chrissie.
Chrissie: She's beautiful Jake.
Jake: She must take after her..
Chrissie: ..Mother?
Jake: Well I was going to say father but whatever suits you.
She hit him gently, holding the baby in the other arm.
Chrissie: Here, you hold her.
He cradled her in his arms. A tear of happiness rolled down his cheek. Chrissie just smiled as she watched him. A nurse came into the room carrying a clipboard.
Nurse: -To doctor- Sir, I think you should see this.
He looked at the clipboard.
Dr: Oh.
Chrissie looked at the doctor, suddenly feeling worried. What if there was something wrong with the baby?
Chrissie: What is it?
Dr: Well..

Dr: Well the computer got your details and another patient's details mixed up.
Jake: And?
Dr: And there's another baby on the way.
Chrissie: WHAT?!?
Jake: You mean we've got twins?
Dr: Yes.
Chrissie: I can't have another baby. I just can't.
Jake: Chrissie, you can do this. You've just gotta try.
He squeezed her hand reassuringly.
Chrissie: Alright. I'll do it for you, 'cause I love you.
Jake: Well that's good to know but you've got another kid on the way.

Several painful moments later..
Chrissie sat with her little baby boy in her arms. She had just given birth for the second time. She sighed with relief. Jake smiled and looked down at his daughter, Haylie. She was sleeping peacefully.
Jake: I love you.
He kissed Chrissie softly on the lips.
Chrissie: Do you want to hold Adam again?
Jake: Yeah alright then.
She passed him to Jake.
Jake: You know one thing that we've made today?
Chrissie: 2 beautiful little babies? A marriage?
He shook his head.
Jake: A family.
She smiled. Tears fell from her eyes. She had never been happier. It had been the best day of her life.
