Actress Tracy-Ann Oberman has been offered a massive publishing deal to write Chrissie Watts’ prison diaries. The EastEnders landlady is currently facing life behind bars for mashing husband Den’s skull into the Queen Vic’s shagpile with a doggy doorstop.

“It could be a best-seller as far as interest from our fans is concerned,” a TV insider told the Daily Star. “But there are many contractual difficulties to sort out.”

And soap fans may not have seen the last of Chrissie, because the book project could even inspire a spin-off TV show about Chrissie’s life inside.

nice idea. but what they should REALLY do is put her in Bad Girls like they did with Tanya from Footballer's Wives, that would be a scream!

They don't really need chrissie to write about chrissies time in prison. She's never been, so whoever wrote it would just have to have an imagination.
